Given out by: Librarian Quest description: All's been quiet in the library. Too quiet. The librarian's efforts to block out all the sound have also blocked out all the light, attracting deadly shadow monsters. Contact with these shadows can strip flesh from bones in moments, and they don't seem to want to talk. Take out those shadows! Reward: 20 points Quest statistics: × At least one character in the party must have completed part one of the quest to unlock part two × Can only be filled once per character × A party is highly recommended, these monsters can and will knock out your character! × Characters will be forced into battle with the shadows. They will need to survive long enough to exterminate all of them or to remove the boards on all the windows WITHOUT damaging the rest of the structure. Severe damage to the library will result in characters only netting half the points for the quest. × Natural (sunlight, fire, etc.) light sources and magical light sources will weaken the shadows. The shadows are capable of disabling electronics, so turning on the lights or finding a flashlight won’t hold them! OOC Quest requirement: Link a log of the actual quest. A starter post + one comment for each character involved will be required for points to be awarded.
