Okay so ... this is probably a really dumb question, but please bear with me while I flail around and try to put it into words.
Say I have a character I want to app. Said character, in her canon, has been dead for sixteen years. At the end of the series, it's implied that despite having been dead for those sixteen years, she has been able to keep a watch on the world of the living, and by proxy, her sons.
Would it be acceptable to go on that implication and app her into vatheon with knowledge of what happens in the entire series, or should I take her from just after her death and without any knowledge of what happened in the series at all?

I sincerely hope this makes sense. :D;
