He's tossed ten coins at the same time and they all slammed heads up without spinning, won a dice game with dice loaded to make him lose, and rolled a one (total) with three dice. He also made it through a tower that no one else had survived by spinning and choosing the direction to move that way after he lost said dice.
"Where Rand causes people to die from falling off a step as often as he causes people to land from a 5 story fall without a scratch, people around Mat often only experience the good luck caused by the Pattern weaving around him, if they experience any change at all. Even if it doesn't seem like good luck when it happens. For example, Mat had a building fall on him which lead to him meeting his future wife."
