Vatheon's staple NPCs will have postings here, and all the other new quest NPCs will simply be listed under the "Quest NPCs" comment header. Hi! I saw you needed help with advertising so I'm here to, well, help!

Great! Can you sing or dance? Maybe you could do a juggling routine in the plaza...

[Poor Sola, he'll be less dextrous as a full warrior.]

[Lies, dexterity is totally a warrior stat in DnD. But no, he has something else in mind as he pulls his ocarina from a pouch at his belt.]

Hmm. Can you play it and hand out flyers in the plaza at the same time? Maybe if you had a stack of flyers...

[Well, Ioder is a musician by hobby, so being a bard isn't too much of a stretch for him. Performing for other people isn't something he does often, but it was one of the quests, so he decides to start with this one and see how he does.

So he approaches the carnival owner with a bright smile and a wave, ready to get to work.]

Good afternoon! Are you the one I should speak to about the request for advertising help?

[Finally, a bard! He's been hoping for one of these to advertise things properly!]

That would be me! Now tell me, good bard, what sorts of tricks can you do?

Well, I'm quite skilled with a flute, and I can draw as well as tell stories. And I do sing a little, but it's difficult to do so while playing.

Hmm... why don't you draw us a poster and go play in front of it in the plaza?

[That should do the trick! It'll be like having a musical billboard!]

[He's got this one. Well... a carnival owner might have higher expectations than the little girl who asked him to perform on Market Street, but it's pretty much the same thing, right?]

I sure am! What sorts of talents do you have, kid?

[He looks pretty small and agile. Maybe he can walk the tightrope?]

[There was nothing better than a carnival for a good laugh, and getting the chance to dress up and draw in a crowd certain paid for itself in the laughs that Undertaker was having off to the side.]

[The owner seems happy that Undertaker is so enthusiastic! It's really nice to see someone properly enjoying this quest. He might have a little something for him when he goes to report his results.]

[If nothing else, Darkleer has come to acknowledge by this point that he and Arty are... eyecatching if nothing else.]

[But who is he kidding, he can't resist an urge to heavy lift things, and he knows Arty can't either.]

We would be more than pleased to do that. Do you have anything in particular to lift, or will we have to find such things ourselves?

[Ahh, this one is right up Bro's alley. He's all for entertaining. It's a shame he can't do most of his ninjutsu tricks and doesn't have his rocketboard, but there's always one other skill he can resort to. After running back to his apartment to retrieve Lil Cal, he seeks out the owner of the carnival.]

Hey, man. I read somethin' about you needing good advertisement for your carnival. How's a ventriloquist act sound?

[Ventriloquism, huh? Well, if it's done well it is very entertaining. He's going to have to check Bro's skills first, though.]

Show me what you've got, kid.

[It won't exactly be all he's got, seeing as he can't flashstep. His act is so much more impressive when he can pretty much make it all about Cal. Now he's going to have to take a more conventional ventriloquist approach and actually stay in sight.

Then again, it's not that conventional. He can't resist throwing in a rap. The initial beatboxing comes from his own mouth, but then he switches to Cal for the lyrics.]
