Revision

Okay! Here's my revisions for Yasha's personality:

While he might be a deity per say, Yasha seems very human despite his status. Unlike the other gods, Yasha is perhaps the most sympathetic. He easily feels and hears the agony of the people, making it quite easy for him to empathize with them. This unique trait might be because of his status as the God of Melancholy but whether or not it is has yet to be disputed. For the last twelve thousand years, Yasha tried his best to ignore the cries of the people for the sake of the Cause. This is what lead for him to don the mask he wears in order to hide his emotions from others. All of the agony he felt due to the sorrows of others left the young Demigod feeling quite older than his years. The pain of his practitioners loss ultimately left him distraught and depressed. He felt no joy in knowing that he was adding the deities in their heinous plan. Yasha was fooled in believing that the only way to bring everlasting peace would be through the harvesting of human souls. However, once Olga foolishly squanders the Brahmastra's power in order to defeat Asura, something snaps within him.

One could assume that deep inside Yasha loathed the other deities as much as he hated himself. Yasha joins Asura's side out of remorse and desperation to set things right. It took twelve thousand years for Yasha to find the courage to rise and stand up against the other deities, especially since Lord Deus was once his mentor and master. When Deus ascends and merges with the Karma Fortress, Yasha looked honestly disturbed by his mentor's decision to proceed with the Cause. He couldn't understand why the man he once sought for guidance could fall so far from grace. It's during then that Yasha accepts that he's nothing more than a fool. Yasha's naivety regarding to the entire situation stands out most.

There's also times when Yasha can be a tad too preachy for his own good, almost to the point of nagging. Asura has a habit of telling Yasha to "shut it" on occasions because of this. Yasha is a worrier and sometimes he has a bad habit of forcing his worries on others. While he certainly means well, Yasha can sometimes be a bit of a pest. Yet, overall Yasha comes across as the lone wolf type. The kind of person who keeps to himself unless a situation calls for him to socialize with others. He tends to keep his distance, more comfortable to be on his own rather than in a crowd. This could be a good or bad trait of his.

It's said that Asura is the most primitive of the two, it's actually Yasha who is. He's unable to understand himself or control his emotions well. He isn't quick to irrational rage like Asura is, yet Yasha seems unable to be honest with himself. Yasha was obviously disgruntle with his role in his sister and brother-in-law's death, yet did nothing to avenge them in hopes that their martyrdom would pave the way towards eternal peace. Once this misconception was shattered, Yasha's need to atone for his sins make him seem somewhat desperate for forgiveness from the loved ones he forsook. This is evident towards the end of the game when Yasha sacrifices his life for the sake of Asura in episode 21. Knowing that Asura was the stronger of the two, Yasha bestows his all of his power to the fallen deity in order to revive him as apart of his atonement.

In conclusion, Yasha is a self-sacrificing Demigod who will stop at nothing to set the wrongs done by him or others. He's kindness is as boundless and his sense of duty. Once he focuses on a certain goal that will benefit others, Yasha will stop at nothing to achieve it. He's sometimes too trusting and slightly unsure of himself but Yasha is ultimately a force to reckon with when pushed too far.
