Project #044
Motion was put forth for the creation of Project #044, a sustainable energy source drawing from the ̀͟b̀́͞d́́҉ inherent in emotional fluctuations as discovered by 2͡5͟ ͘. With enough subjects, Project #044 would be capable of creating a renewable energy source unrelated to the current unsustainable sources. After the initial investment, the project would be able to run relatively cheap compared to current methods. As a result, all subjects of Konega would be able to be supplied with cheap, non-polluting energy.
The last three months have been dedicated to hearing the opposing viewpoints relevant to the situation, ranging from the patent holders K. and T. Wervel (last year’s winners of the Konega award for most influential scientific breakthrough) to R.C. Berger representing the K.C.M. (Konega Collective of Magic) speaking out against the plans, fearing for substantial job and revenue loss in the magic dominated energy sector.
As all different viewpoints have been heard, the motion was put to a vote.Motion: Moved by A. Dottir that Project #044 be allowed to proceed.
Motion carried by 15 votes in favour, 8 against, and 2 abstaining.
