( Personality ) : While outwardly Mamoru seems like a happy well adjusted kid, and always tries to be supportive and agressively friendly from those he considers good people and friends, There is a lot more to him than that. When Mamoru first discovered his power to sense the Zonders and Purify the human that were mechanized, it weighed on Mamoru's mind, that maybe he wasn't like everyone else, or that he didn't belong, he tried to shake this off, or write off the respnsibility at times. However, the Gutsy Galaxy Guard, or "3G", an paramillitary orginization who developed the technology using the alien tech of the mecha-lion Galeon and it's mysterious G-Stone, needed Mamoru's help to combat the Zonder threat, Despite seeming scared and distant in light of his powers, after some subtle urging from the apparently-sentient Galeon, he grew to trust and admired the team as friends, and Mamoru began to take his responsibility more seriously, even going as far to endanger himself to accomplish his goals of saving people from the Zonders, despite him not being able to do everything alone.
After the defeat of the Zondarians who came to invade Earth, a new threat arised, called the "31 Machine World Primevals.". Mamoru went through a phase of change here, at first, he could not detect Primevals like he could the regular Zonders, no could he purify the Primeval cores and help 3G accqire the Zonder Crystals, as Ikumi Kaidou, one of his classmates revealed he too, had similar powers to Mamoru's, and helped the mysterious Soldat J get to the Primevals first, since Kaidou could sense the Primevals and purify the Primeval cores.
Mamoru at first thought this was rather liberating, since he viewed at as a chance to catch up with all those classes he missed, improve his grades, or just get on with being young and having fun and not worrying about anything. However, he felt like he was letting his comrades down, and that he wwas mistreating his responsibility. This eventually got the better of him and turned to 3G scientist Professor Leo for help. Mamoru helped the Professor investigate something with Galeon, and Mamoru, thanks to the green necklace given to him by his parents, began to be imprinted with some lost memories.
Mamoru was not an human all along. His birth name was actually "Latio." He comes from the distant Trinary Solar System, the people of the Purple Planet in that system devised a Master Program that would do away with all negetive emotions, however it decided the best way to do that was absorb all life into itself, doing away with positive thoughts as well, mechanizing and destroying the planets of the system, becoming the Zonders. Cain, Mamoru's biological father and Guardian of the Green Planet, discovered the power to purify the Zonder Metal, the substance the Zonders and the 31 Primevals were using to mechanize life and reverse the process. He used this to develop ways to combat the Zonders, through the G-Stone, and his last invention before the Green Planet fell, Galeon. He sent his son to the distant Blue Planet.... Earth. Hoping someone could more fully develop his inventins and save the universe from the Zonders.
When Mamoru learned this truth, it shook him up as he had a hard time with some of his classmates, and feeling like an outsider, and having to deal witht he fact the humans he's been calling mom and dad were never his parents. Having to face a tough turning point, who is he, exactly? Does he continue to live as the human Mamoru he was raised as, or does he fully commit to his Latio persona, taking on the full responsibility as the last of his people. After some tender moments with his friends and his very accepting foster parents, he decided that he is both, as far as he's concerned. Mamoru Amami of Earth and Latio of the Green Planet are one in the same.
With the Primevals destroyed and the Master Program finally purified for good, Mamoru's return to Earth was sadly not a happy one, as Mamoru had to say his goodbyes to his friends, and worse, his parents on Earth, as he needed to go back into space with Galeon and try to find remants of his people and try anything he can to restore the Trinary Solar System. He decided to live both lives, and he needed to hold up the other end of that.
When Mamoru traveled back to the Trinary Solar System, he saw that the restoration program had begun to take root in the form of the 11 Planetary Lords of Sol. However the Sol Lords were planning to accomplish restoration by using their regeneration device to siphon dark matter from another solar system... Earth's. Mamoru of course, tried to find a way for his people and Earth to co-exist, but in the Sol Lord's eyes, mankind was weak and unfit to live compared to them, and believed this was the only way. Mamoru had to act by stealing the key part of the renegeration Machine, the Pas-Q Machine, using it to create a copy of himself and Galeon to help make his escape. While he did somewhat make his escape, he was forced to fall back and hide in the G-crystal after dividing the Pas-Q Machine into parts on Earth. However, due to the Replicant falling into Sol Lord hands, the replicant was re-programmed to decieve 3G and claim the parts of the machine, killing the fiance of one of Mamoru's friends at 3G
However, despite having to make those hard decisions, Mamoru tried his best to just get Galeon ready at the G-Crystal for 3G to arrive. when 3G came, Mamoru joined the fight against the Sol Lords, doing battle with the Sol Lord made in the image of Cain, Mamoru's biological father. After the battle, the Trinary Solar System was to be reborn and the area of subspace they were in was collapsing. 3G used the last of their energy they had left to send Mamoru (and Kaidou) in the last two escape pods back to earth through a ES Window (a type of wormhole) that they used the last of their energy reserves to make. Mamoru tried his best to like his human live the best he could, though he would never forget his friends, and parting with them like that still saddened him deeply as he did as was asked and told everyone what happened out there.
( Strengths/Weaknesses ) :
Can glow green and has the ability to fly via a pair of thin fairy-like translucent wings that appear when he glows, can generate a green energy shield that can allow him and anyone else he extends the shield limited protection from harm for him and those nearby allies. Doing this is very exaustive to Mamoru and the shield can be broken.
He also possesses two spells, the ability of Purification (in canon this was used to purify those mechanized by the Zonders and to restore the Zonder Crystals, but it can also be used to purify supernatural corruption, free people from mind control or calm someone down, or to heal others.) in which he chants "Curatio! Teneritas, sectio, salus... coctura! (Healing! Tenderness, dissection, salvation... smelting!)".
He also has some more offensive magic, such as a bolt of energy coming from the palm of his hand, which can vary in power, depending on Mamoru's intent and mood, from simply knocking something from someone's hand or kncoking someone back, to actually being able to harm flesh and blood or pierce through some solid matter. There is a more potent version where he uses both hands, stating the "Two Powers Into One" chant as he clasps his hands together.
Mamoru loves to help people out and is almost obnoxiously nice to people he thinks he can trust, however, sometimes he's a little too trusting unless he can tell someone is doing things he finds morally wrong. Also, he tends to be protective of the people he cares about or considers a friend or a good person, and has a problem with those who think they can get away with bad or evil actions. Mamoru isn't really quick to anger, but he will stand up for the people he wants to protect and will stand up against someone he thinks is doing something that's wrong.
Mamoru also has some issues with fitting in, due to being an alien and being the last of his race. his necklace (the G-Stone) is an object of great sentimental value to him, and he has a great deal of trouble with craving acceptance and dealing with being the last of his kind.
( Other Important Facts ) : Hmm, Well, I may as well go over his apperance
Mamoru is a boy with green eyes and brown hair, that glows green when he uses his powers (in a cute, but rather gravity-defying upward arc in the front of him.) He also sprouts sparking fairy wings when he uses his powers as well. He's decently well built for his age, but on Earth he did enjoy playing and having fun more than ever worrying about anything, but his responsibilities shook that up a bit. His alien heritage might also play into that.
His Earth clothes is a yellow and blue jacket or vest, along with a white t-shirt, along with red or blue shorts and white knee-length socks and red or blue shoes. However, after a while he also started wearing the outfit of his original culture, which was a white toga with a red piece on the upper body with brown shoulder-pads, his green G-Stone necklace, and brown arm bracers and brown leg bracers and brown sandals.

When Mamoru woke up, he was unsure what had happened. he found himself in a bad, in a strange building. Mamoru noticed the strange mark that was now on the front of his left hand, nervously touching it, wondering where it came from. Mamoru was desperate to know what was going on so he looked outside.
Mamoru stood at the square of the underwater city, looking around. Mamoru was suprised at the wonders of the city, especially the gigantic dome and that giant piece of coral. Mamoru took a while looking around the various shops in the town and he couldn't believe how nice this place was, but plenty of questions were still picking at his mind. Mamoru glew green and showed his wings as he began to fly up, closer to the dome.
When Mamoru reached the dome, he placed his hand against it but his hand recoiled in shock because it seemed to be made out of some sort or energy. Mamoru looked around for some kind of way out, but it seems like the dome around the city was pretty tight. Mamoru could feel something fading in him, like he couldn't fly anymore, let alone try to use his powers to try and open a hole, it probably wouldn't have worked anyway given how big that dome is.
When Mamoru landed, he felt so weak, the youth collasped to his knees in a bit of pain, he couldn't understand why he was so out of energy, using his powers was hard on him before, but it was never this bad. Mamoru used the giant piece of coral as something to grab onto to stand himself back up, but as he held it, he felt like he was feeling a bit better, that his stamina was steadily returning.
Mamoru sat down next to it and said "What is this place?" Mamoru asked quietly and then followed that up "It feels like the longer I go without touching this coral...the weaker I feel... What's going on here?" Mamoru asked again, to nobody in particular. "How did I even end up here? I get the feeling that whoever took me here doesn't want me to leave." Mamoru asked with a sad face, looking at the coral again before becoming a little more serious as he walked away. "I need to find some answers, maybe some others here are prisoners like I seem to be."
