RPG event - Quest NPC Contact

Below is a place to thread out quick little conversations with the NPCs that aren't worth an entire log. Vatheon's staple NPCs will have postings here, and all the other new quest NPCs will simply be listed under the "Quest NPCs" comment header. Please put in the subject line which quest you're talking with an NPC about!

Really?! Well, all right...
[She opens the door to her son's room. He's literally bouncing off the walls. It's going to have to be a damn good story to get his attention!]

All right you, if you want to listen to the greatest story ever then you need to settle down and listen, okay?

Once upon a time, there was this beautiful maiden, so beautiful it should have been a crime. [To prove a point she runs her own fingers through her hair. Could she have based the main character from herself, who knows. Quite possibly.] Anyway, people all around the world had noticed of this maidens beauty, especially the mean ugly lady that only lived down the lane and lived in a house that could quite mistakenly look like a shoe box and what frightened even the mice of this fair town. [She makes a face to express or try at least to express how ugly that woman could be, but finding it hard.]
This woman was jealous of the beautiful woman and wanted her to be the same as herself. Ugly on the inside and outside. So, one night when the young woman was asleep, the hag slowly crept up to the house, [She moved in slightly, with each movement she would move in a little more.] tuuuuurned the door handle, opened the door and made her way into the house. She was looking to do something, but first the nasty woman had to find out where she rested. It was a big house after all, unlike her small, nasty shoe box. So, she started up the stairs, the mice that were around nibbling at her ankles, trying to stop the woman from going further, but to no avail.
[Minako put two fingers on the bed to represent legs and walking.] The woman continued on her journey towards the young maidens room, hoping to cause harm to that pretty face and gorgeous locks of golden hair. As she slowly kept towards the room, she turned her head to find... [She pauses for suspense.] A ninja, hiding in the shadows that projected the lady at all costs. If that wasn't enough, a robot appeared next to the ninja, all prepared to risk their lives for her and take care of the mean old lady. [She crossed her arms, nodding. This was good stuff you know.] So they both grabbed the old bat and took her far away, so she couldn't try and harm the beautiful girl again. When the young lady woke up, the worst that had happened was a serious case of bedhead, which was treatable.
[She smiled slightly.] And she lived happily ever after, riding off into the sunset on a pet dinosaur, off to look for a prince that she could call hers. That's the end of the best story ever.

[The boy looks up at Minako stubbornly like he's waiting for her to amend her story.]

Ugly witches are cliched enough, I would have to change the best story ever and it would end up lame.

[He climbs up on his bed and starts jumping, clearly done with this story. No magic? No fighting? Just some girl going to find a prince? The dinosaur was kind of cool, but seriously!]

[That seemed obvious, but it meant now she had to actually think of another story.]

Oh! Here we go. Once upon a time, in a far away kingdom lived a powerful princess. She was always told to stay in her castle and study, which as we all know is rather boring, lame and hard to do. So of course she never listened and would always sneak out and go visit the best place ever.
It was here she met the one, her special someone, but something terrible happened. A war started that caused the two to have to be separated. It's rater sad really, but there is a lot of fighting due to it being a war. A war between the people of the forbidden kingdom and one other, who wanted the place for themselves and take over everything. But they tried their hardest to stop them, but to no avail.
With one stroke of her sword the Queen of the other kingdom killed the princesses special someone and as he died in her arms, her heart broke so much that is was unbearable. The queen, her mother just couldn't take this anymore and took matters into her own hands and with the wave of her special weapon, managed to seal away the evil queen and her army and with the last of her magic, sent her daughter and her loved one away, to another place. One day it's said that they will end up together again and the true battle will begin once more. But this time, the ending won't be as sad.
