Below is a place to thread out quick little conversations with the NPCs that aren't worth an entire log. Vatheon's staple NPCs will have postings here, and all the other new quest NPCs will simply be listed under the "Quest NPCs" comment header. Please put in the subject line which quest you're talking with an NPC about!

[She flexes at Shiro, giving off an odd sort of sparkling.]

I'm not teaching you so much as reminding you just how AMAZING your own body is. Tell me about the closest fight you've ever been in, warrior.

[He has so many stories, so he goes for the most exciting-sounding one.]

Once I had to kill a huge demon-bird, but the damn thing kept flying off before I could finish it off so I jumped on its back and fought it in mid-air.

[The fight itself? Not so tough. It was the fall after it had died that nearly killed him.]

Not bad! Sounds like you had that one in hand, though. Haven't you ever had to really push yourself? Keep on going even when the odds looked grim?

[Sure, jumping on a demon's back probably had some ADRENALINE involved, but it doesn't sound like he got hurt!]

[paladaddy]

[He considers that for a moment.]

Well, there was that one time, where me and about five other guys had to fight off about a hundred demons. We stumbled into a nest of 'em and it really pissed them off. Even with the help, that was pretty grim.

Did you get pushed to your limit? Did you discover that PAIN and FEAR were suddenly nothing to you?!

[She's posing with those emphasized words, yes she is.]

[paladaddy]

Well yeah. They were counting on me, no matter how much it hurt I had to keep fighting. I couldn't just let them die if I had anything left in me to fight with.

That's right! When the enemy has you cornered, you have to look deep inside yourself and let the ADRENALINE coursing through your body carry you through!

[Shiro has learned the skill Adrenaline! Wait, is that all there is to it?

Yes, yes it is.]

[paladaddy]

[I'd like to say he would only use this power for good and noble purposes, but I would be lying.]
