Below is a place to thread out quick little conversations with the NPCs that aren't worth an entire log. Vatheon's staple NPCs will have postings here, and all the other new quest NPCs will simply be listed under the "Quest NPCs" comment header. Please put in the subject line which quest you're talking with an NPC about!

[The sister looks up at Devit somewhat incredulously.]

Umm... I can't really get them to leave their room. Can you talk to them one at a time, mister?

That's sounds like a three ring circus runaround. And I'm planning on telling 'em both the same thing anyways.

[ Man why do brats have to be so difficult? ]

I got some candy, think that'll lure 'em outta hiding?

I don't think so. They're both obsessed with watching "their" half of the room right now.

[Too bad that wall is in the way or he could talk to both!]

[ He rolls his eyes. Dammit somehow he knew this wouldn't be an easy quest. ]

Fine. Take me to the first brat.

[thalassino]

[She takes him in to her brother's room through the door. There's a wall shoddily built in the middle of it, and no visible windows. The first brother is staring at the wall warily.]

You have a visitor!

[Devit, it's all you.]

[onebecametwo]

[ Devit glances from the brat to the shoddy wall and back. Seriously? SERIOUSLY? ]

Hey kid! Do you love your sister? You wanna see her happy?

[thalassino]

[Does he love his sister? What does that have to do with his brother leaving legos all over his side of the room? Have you ever stepped on one of those, Devit? Have you?!]

Of course I do!

[onebecametwo]

[ What the hell is a lego? Fuck he don't care about that. ]

You don't frigging act like it!

[ Hahaha. Look. He avoided dropping the F-bomb in front of a kid. He rocks. ]

You know what you and you brother are doing to her? That poor girl is practically tearing her own damn hair out over you two. She actually had to start a freaking QUEST to get someone to deal with you little brats. She's gone way past being at the end of rope. You think that's fair to her you little joker?

But he leaves legos on my side of the floor!

[And suddenly, from the other side of the wall:]

I do not, you just steal all my legos and try to pretend that you don't know they're there when I notice! Stay away from my side!

[onebecametwo]

Then just kick 'em back over to his side-

[ These brats. ]

HEY YOU! If you're gonna yell don't do it through the damn shoddy wall, get your butt over here! NOW.

[thalassino]

[And silence reigns from the lego-wielding brother's half of the room.]

He can't come over here. He's not allowed, it's MY side of the wall.

[Their sister throws her hands up in the air.]

That stupid wall! All you two do is talk about it!

[onebecametwo]

You hear that? That is the sound of you two annoying the hell outta your poor sister.

[ He turns and looks pointedly at the wall and slowly starts to walk over to it. ]

Lego boy you get over here now! And you-

[ He glances at Lego-thief-boy. ]

You are not gonna complain about him coming over here. I'm counting to five now! If you two blockheads aren't standing on the same side of the wall when I'm done... It's coming down... ONE...

[They both seem to think he's bluffing. Lego-thief-boy just crosses his arms. The sister covers her mouth. Can he take the wall down? He looks like a cleric! But she would like it gone...]

[onebecametwo]

TWO...

[ There is a hint of maliciousness in his voice. Oh kiddies he is SO serious. ]

THREE...

[ He presses a foot against that craptastic fall. It shudders in retaliation, as if it knows it's end is nigh. ]

FOUR...

[The sister looks from side to side, then gently kicks the wall. It shudders even more, and the brother that can see her looks appalled.]
