Below is a place to thread out quick little conversations with the NPCs that aren't worth an entire log. Vatheon's staple NPCs will have postings here, and all the other new quest NPCs will simply be listed under the "Quest NPCs" comment header. Please put in the subject line which quest you're talking with an NPC about!

[Who's the manager's favorite little troll? Feferi is! Since she seems to like fish and water based things so much, the next time she goes up to the room she's been staying in, she'll find a water bed right alongside the regular bed (just in case she doesn't like it). If she sleeps in the water bed, she'll regenerate mp faster for the next day.]

He's pretty sad. Maybe he should talk to his wife about having children, this is fun. He leaves her some more mp potions, at any rate!]

[Unfortunately, once this curse is over they may not behave exactly like this...

Either way, she gets another little note.

"We'll talk to the administration about it! By the way, you should keep that boy in his place until he marries you properly. Use this."

On her pillow is a new staff that increases her mp when equipped. It also does double damage to anyone trying to get into her pants! Not that that is relevant to the sort of fights she'll be in during this curse, but hey.]

"They're called breathe right strips! They usually sell them at the drug store but it seems like the stocks on everything are all weird for this curse. Everything is a bit off, actually. Strange, isn't it?"

She leaves a box of the strips for Sollux and Feferi.]

[Only magical RPG npcs can take suggestions and fill them the next day. For the last few days of the curse, Feferi's room will have a small jacuzzi instead of the usual tub and three choices of bubble bath: Merryberry Mana, Strawberry Stamina, and Huckleberry HP. Everyone loves increased regeneration!]

Seems like the innkeeps have left Feferi a map to the magical watermelons! Not that she needs them, but Sollux might.]

[The room is stuffed with amenities Saturday night, as the manager and his wife really are quite concerned about the situation.

Sunday night after the battle, if she returns and tries to speak with them or tries to stay in her room, they just offer her blank smiles and direct her back towards her proper house.]

[Sollux gets a sticky note this time: "Maybe you shouldn't be staying in the same room as a young girl! We aren't THAT sort of inn."

Hush, he's becoming fond of Feferi.]

"Dear, marriage means never properly sleeping again. The sooner you learn this, the better."]

[Now there's a note from both parties. From the wife:

"Oh, the wedding is definitely one of the best parts, but the honeymoon is even better! And having someone to stick with you through thick and thin is a wonderful thing.

Just, the snoring and all the tossing and turning at night is really quite a hassle."

From the husband:

"I sleep much better now that we're married! And I always get to wake up to my wife's lovely face. If you love a girl, you should marry her to show her that you're serious!"]

[Just in case, Sollux will find some breathe right strips on his pillow. Though, if he wears them during the curse, he'll find they greatly increase his stamina regeneration for a day... unfortunately, there's no note to that effect, so he probably won't ever find out.]
