Below is a place to thread out quick little conversations with the NPCs that aren't worth an entire log. Vatheon's staple NPCs will have postings here, and all the other new quest NPCs will simply be listed under the "Quest NPCs" comment header. Please put in the subject line which quest you're talking with an NPC about!

[...if the door is only on this side of the wall, is the other boy stuck over there? Uh.]

Um, hi. I heard you and your brother had a fight?

[The other boy uses the window, of course!]

He's a jerk and he leaves his messes on my side of the room. But now he CAN'T, because we both have our own rooms!

Do you think he was doing it on purpose? Sometimes people just do stuff, and they don't realize what it means to somebody else.

Well I told him not to and he didn't clean it up anyway.

[The boy sticks his lower lip out petulantly. He's in the right here, don't try to make him sympathize with the enemy!]

Well, even so... Is it really that big a deal? He's your brother.

[thalassino]

It is! I step on his stuff and it hurts and I can't find anything!

[HUGE deal, wow! Roxas just doesn't understand, clearly he doesn't have a messy brother to deal with.]

So... fight it out a little.

I've got a brother, too, y'know. And I've been- mad at him before. I don't think walling him out and avoiding him'd do anything except let me stay mad. And- that's not really any fun.

You should talk to him. Or yell if you need to, but- you've gotta be sure what you're yelling is what you're really mad about, and not just excuses, or he won't understand.

He made a mess, HE can say sorry!

[Done talking, the boy flops on his bed and turns over. Hmph!]

...I didn't say anything about apologizing.

[Wow. He thought he'd have this one but this is turning out to be really hard.]

You said I should talk to him. You can go talk to him if you care so much!

[Though he'll have to head out the house and through the window with a jar underneath it to get into the other boy's side of the room. It's a little roundabout.]

Huh, well... I guess I'll have to get through the wall to do that.

[Nope, not going around. The Samurai Nobody which has been hanging back glides into the room.]

What? Wait, no!

[He's jumping up to try and defend the wall. The sister looks pretty eager, though.]

You want me to talk to him for you, right?

I'll just have my friend here make a hole so I can tell him how sorry you are.

[The Samurai pushes the boy aside--a little roughly but not too hard--and then rams the wall with its other shoulder.]

[thalassino]

[It comes down with a spectacular crash, revealing... a huge mess and another little boy on the other side. Both boys stare at Roxas blankly, then start yelling.]

You're a huge jerk!

Yeah, you big meanie! You broke our wall!

[At least they're getting along?]

[Better that they're angry at him than at each other...]

Maybe you should've built it better. It came down pretty easy.

[After a little huffing and puffing, the boys set to work cleaning up the wall together. Having a common "enemy" has them getting along again, and they're cleaning up the mess too. Their sister sure looks happy!]

[Roxas watches for a few moments, and then quietly slips out with his Nobody. He gives the sister a sheepish shrug. Not exactly how he intended it to work out, but they seem to be doing okay?]
