Below is a place to thread out quick little conversations with the NPCs that aren't worth an entire log. Vatheon's staple NPCs will have postings here, and all the other new quest NPCs will simply be listed under the "Quest NPCs" comment header. Please put in the subject line which quest you're talking with an NPC about!

[Dirk glances to the side, keeping an eye out for the manager.]

You're going to have to slide pretty quickly, in that case.

What, is he lurking around again? Man...

[He grins suddenly, tossing Dirk a pair of dice.]

Here, catch.

[Dirk catches them, then rolls them around in his palm to examine them.]

'Hell're these for?

[The skill master shrugs, then winks and vanishes. Invisibility! And here comes the manager, eyes zeroed in on that pair of dice. Either Dirk's going to learn to vanish on the fly or he's going to jail for the rest of the curse.

Thankfully this is rpg land and he's more likely to instantly unlock the skill.]

[Oooh, sneaky. Dirk would approve if he didn't want to just curse the guy out.

It's very fortunate that this is indeed RPG land, because as soon as he sees the manager, he puts the pieces together, and damn, since he can't flashstep, he'll have to get away somehow...
