Below is a place to thread out quick little conversations with the NPCs that aren't worth an entire log. Vatheon's staple NPCs will have postings here, and all the other new quest NPCs will simply be listed under the "Quest NPCs" comment header. Please put in the subject line which quest you're talking with an NPC about!

[He'll put his earrings on too, turning his head to get his smaller but still rather in the way horns inside. It's tight, but he manages it.]

All right, lemme find them- [Not that it was probably to hard to...]

Hey uh- anyone around? [Said as he moves further into the house.]

[thalassino]

[The brother on the side of the room with a door pokes his head out curiously.]

Hey, it's a grey person! Hi, grey person!

[rebull]

Uh, hey! I'm here about a domestic despite? Could hear the hubbub from down the block and couldn't get a decent nap. What's the deal? [Gives a small smile, glancing inside the room.]

He always leaves messes on MY side of the room and says it's still on his side, so we put up a wall!

[Kids. Yup. There may have been some lego to foot casualties as well. This is serious business here, obviously requiring a wall built smack down the middle of their room.]

[rebull]

Uh, well you could just divide majority of the room up for the week? Every other day or uh, first and second half? Or even hell, every other week. Then you'd get a whole week to yourself, and he would too, if you can't share, negotiate to find something to go with hey?

[It's adorable, really. He only hopes he can help.]

I'd still have to LOOK at his piles, though. What if they topple over again?

[In this brother's opinion, he's absolutely in the right. What's his brother's problem, being so messy all the time? It's ridiculous! He should have some common decency!]

[rebull]

Hmm, yeah but- [Leans in a little, holding a hand to cover the side of his mouth, his volume shrinks to a whisper.]

With all his stuff just thrown around like this, it's kinda funny how he can never find anything, right? And he probably won't notice if you move a few things around to make walking about easier, eh?

[thalassino]

If I gotta move it, I get to KEEP it.

[There's a kick on the other side of the wall at that.]

You do not! Stop stealing my stuff, you THIEF!

[rebull]

Huh-? [Looks up to the other voice.]

Well it'd be hard to take anything if you hide all your stuff! Hey, could even booby trap where you put it away.

Where am I supposed to put it all? Different things need different piles, everyone knows that. I don't have enough boxes!

[The other brother is a serious pack rat. He'd need a lot of containers to put all his toys away properly, and he's currently incapable of doing something like going out to get a bunch of boxes.]

[rebull]

Well, I could help you get more boxes and places to put 'em?

[A sylladex could really help this situation out right about now.]

[thalassino]

Would you really do that?

[It's the sister speaking up again this time. He'll need a LOT of boxes...]

Really?! Umm, okay, I need... 34 boxes! At least five big ones! And make them pink!

[rebull]

Hey I can try. I'd like to make one girl's day nice if I can. [A small smile in the sister's direction before he looks to the brother speaking to him still.]

Eh, can I make you a deal? I'll find as many boxes as I can, do my best to get 34. Pink will be a little hard, so I might not be able to do that but- when I get back, if you want help picking up and putting things away, I'll do my best to help there too, okay?

[thalassino]

[One little eye peeks out from a crack in the wall.]

Really for reals?

[The first brother stomps his foot.]

I want presents, too!

[rebull]

Sure thing.

[Glances over with a shrug.]

Everyone gets boxes today, it's a boxes sorta day. But it'll be hard for me to help out if you guys don't try to help me out right back, and help your sister out too.

[thalassino]

Why don't we take down the wall while the nice adventurer is collecting boxes?

[The boys sigh dramatically at that, but the thought of being able to send this adventurer out on a useless errand is incredibly appealing. They start taking down the wall.]

[rebull]

[Summoner just chuckles, moving away from the brother's room, sending a glance the sister's way.]

Guess I see you in a few hours. [Boxes, so many boxes. But hey, he doesn't mind running about for a while, good for the legs/wings.]

[They'll be waiting! In true rpg fashion, by the time he's back the wall is gone completely. There's not even a trace of it in the trash. Who knows here it went?

It seems that the first boy wasn't exaggerating. The second boy's side of the room is a DISASTER.]

[rebull]

[And it took a lot of time and asking around to get enough boxes, most regular box colour or white, but there are a few coloured ones, even some pink. Summoner's got them flat for the time being, easier to store and remove from his sylladex as he strolls back and sees- yeah, wow.]

Sure is uh, a lotta stuff you got there.

[thalassino]

I collect treasure.

[He sounds pretty proud of this.]

Whatever, just start putting your stuff in boxes before I step on it again!

[Their sister looks amused.]

I'll go make some lunch! Do you want anything?

[rebull]

Treasure huh? [Looks at various piles of things as he starts to retrieve boxes and unfolds them.]

What kinda treasure? [Lysunder gives the other brother a smile, chuckling a little to himself before glancing up to the sister.]

Uh- nah, I'm all right, my hands'll be pretty busy for a bit anyway, but thank ya, doll.

[thalassino]

[She shrugs and wanders off to make lunch for everyone else.]

[The second brother reaches into one of his piles and pulls out... a fishbone guitar! It'll very slightly increase the strength of his buffs, and it's sturdier than other instruments too so it can actually be used to smack monsters in a pinch - not that it does all that much damage, really.]

You want it?

[rebull]

Hm-? [Glances to the fishbone guitar, taking it lightly.]

Uh- you sure it's okay for me to have? [Wow, what a sweet kid. But lots of children tend to have two sides, eh? All part of growing up. He'll be sure to use this a lot more than that swanky ass violin, even if fishes are still not- exactly his style.]

[thalassino]

I'm not any good at music stuff anyway. I just thought it looked like treasure.

[The first brother sighs a bit. Treasure? That's trash! It's a giant fish bone, wow! Look what he has to put up with, seriously. At least Lysunder is helping him put everything away.]

[rebull]

[Lysunder sure is helping him out all his stuff away, the best he can! And even if the other brother thinks it looks like junk, Summoner still sits up a little and stuns a few chords. Huh, doesn't... sound to bad, a kind of neat, hollow sound instead of a ring like his violin.]

That's really nice of you kid. I'll be sure to make good use of it. It'll come in handy during adventures and the like. [A nod, putting the fishbone guitar away to go back to helping.]
