Below is a place to thread out quick little conversations with the NPCs that aren't worth an entire log. Vatheon's staple NPCs will have postings here, and all the other new quest NPCs will simply be listed under the "Quest NPCs" comment header. Please put in the subject line which quest you're talking with an NPC about!

Cross that obstacle course together, of course! As one! One body, one spirit!

[The man nods along with his parrot emphatically.]

[Parrot dude, there's flames and stuff.]

With one hand tied to your partner's hand!

[If they can't move as one, they might as well not move at all! Gosh.]

O-oh.

[Well, that's not so bad. He motions his Samurai closer and holds out his wrist. Just try not to scratch him with those claws, buddy.]

[The scruffy man ties them together by the wrist, then sets them on the obstacle course. It's pretty dangerous, and unless his Samurai manages to unlock the friendship skill and boost his stats, they might find themselves knocked out in the clinic!]

[It doesn't look like they're doing so well at first. The Samurai seems to be trying faithfully, but Roxas only trusts it to do what's in its own interest, like any Nobody. He's not letting it help him.

...until a spout of flame burns his arm, and the Samurai gives him a hard tug to pull him out of any further danger.

That seems to do it, something clicks. There's no Organization here, they're both just Nobodies randomly thrown in this place. The newfound trust boosts the Samurai's abilities and together they make it the rest of the way through. ...a little worse for wear, of course, but still conscious!]
