RPG event - Quest NPC Contact
◣ Quest NPC Contact ◢
Below is a place to thread out quick little conversations with the NPCs that aren't worth an entire log. Vatheon's staple NPCs will have postings here, and all the other new quest NPCs will simply be listed under the "Quest NPCs" comment header. Please put in the subject line which quest you're talking with an NPC about!

SO COOL!]
What happened then? Did you beat her?!
no subject
Though she herself is completely captivated by it, so when he starts to question her she blinks, frowning for a second]
The Neophyte? Oh she died easily. It was like swatting an insect, almost disappointing. She seemed like so much fun after all.
His Honourable Tyranny was more of a challenge in truth. The size of a seadwellers hiveblock and then some, and the teeth... As long as my arm [Stretches out the robotic one, the smooth metal catching the light a little] But he fell, just like her. Size is truly no match for speed and agility, and the Neophyte's blade was sharp enough to pierce the hide of him many times over. His death was slow and he grew so very angry before I finally gave him mercy and slit his throat.

Woooah... what did you do then? Did you steal all their treasure and bury it somewhere?!
no subject
Yes. I buried it all, in a location only I could ever know, and then I left. I made my way to an old acquaintance who owed me much. I had saved his life a long time, when he failed to kill the lover of a rebel under the Empress's command. His failure to complete his task meant he would sentenced to death, but I in turn helped him escape and he went into exile. He owed me his very life for what I had done. But an arm would be a good start.
[stopping momentarily to work at her sleeve, revealing the clearly robotic arm underneath]
He was skilled in the area of robotics, and I tasked him with making me a new one for the one the Neophyte had taken. He worked, an as he did I made my plans for my future. The Neophyte had burned my fleet to the ground with her beast, and the sea was growing tired. The sky though... I had never taken control of the sky, and if I could find that beast, I'm sure I could.

[He's climbing back on his bed to jump now. Story's over, right? He's got to train to become a super awesome pirate, he's got work to do!]
no subject
She does however, get up, catching him as he starts to bounce, raising an eyebrow as she holds him still, lifted off the bed.]
What do you think you're doing?
no subject
[One would think he'd be frightened of her after a story like that, but he just seems excited.]

[Sleep or else kid]

...sleep...
He's out the second his head hits the pillow.]

She does at least stop to draw the covers over the boy a little better before leaving the room, a smug little smile on her face as she looks for the lusus of the boy. She has a payment to collect after all]
