The NPCs
◣ The NPCs ◢
The NPCs of Vatheon, once only accessible by their own volition of appearance, are now round-the-clock contactable by the Vatheonites— via a newly implemented voice mail system! Feel free to contact any of the NPCs down below via their corresponding thread, and specify between VIDEO/VOICE/TEXT should you choose to do so. This page also contains each NPC's profile, which elaborates on some of the known details and information pertaining to each NPC.
THALASSINO
STATUS unknown
INFO The renowned head priestess of Vatheon. She seemed to know a lot, but never revealed more than what she believed was necessary. She was prominently known for her public appearances involving omens or warnings to the residents of Vatheon. She was killed while the coral was being repaired in Year 3.
|
STATION MASTER
STATUS active
INFO The station master in charge of the elevator to the upper island. He's a man of few (if any) words, but he's always smiling. It also seems that he enjoys making hot chocolate and baking cookies.
|
ALPHA
STATUS missing
INFO A rather rude scientist who had accumulated the most interaction with the citizens of Vatheon. Although he possessed a sharp tongue and pessimistic attitude, it became evident over time that he had warmed up to the Vatheonites. He was last seen after overseeing the construction and subsequent completion of the elevator to the island— and since then has been rather quiet.
|
CAROL
STATUS active
INFO A moody grad student who seems to be searching for something. According to Thalassino, Carol freed the priestess from the secret facility on the island prior to its partial destruction. No further information.
|
HEAD NURSE
STATUS active
INFO A very friendly nurse who took over all medical and pharmaceutical affairs after Alpha's "retirement". She was the mastermind behind the murder and decapitation of a nurse in April which turned out to be an April Fool's "prank". No further information.
|
The Cleric
STATUS active
INFO Anyone wishing to talk to C will have to do so in person. Luckily she can often be found near the storage building on the island. If you just wait around there for a little while, she is sure to appear.

You've reached Vatheon's clinic. I'm presently out of the office; but please leave a message, and I'll be sure to respond as soon as possible.

still, she's very good to her patients so she'll take your input into consideration. ]
User head_nurse has accepted your file transfer. Have a nice day. :)

This is how you do it. Live and learn, ladies.
Live and learn.
Also, no murdering, that stuff isn't fun. Just FYI.

I realize it's not your ethical hobby, but when you're adept at so many surgical tools I'll not deny a little mutilation is rather fascinating. To each his own, right? You do your thing, I'll do mine. ♥
Voice
[Because if this is a joke again, it is not a funny one.]
Voice
I do hope you aren't insinuating anything. Ah, murders though? What a mess. But yes, I know of them- who do you think cleans up the bodies around here?
Voice
Ah, so you are the ones that cause the bodies to vanish after a few days. You keep track of the abilities of the foreigners, yes? Do you have any idea who may have done it?

As they say
Whoops.
But yes, the silence, at least, will be enjoyable.

I assure you, I put much time into observing and finding out exactly what makes you tick.

[Since that's clearly not a thing that's happening, as far as Ky can tell.]
Perhaps, then, you should apply the lessons.

[Why is he asking? A mystery!]

Should I inquire as to the occasion?

Hello, Head Nurse. Very recently two people were removed from Vatheon - Zelos and the Link from my era. Is there any way you could bring them back? Anything at all I could do? Zelos just recently started something I would hate to see halted prematurely, and Link... he is no longer among the living back home, and he is so young. He deserves more time than he had. He had just -
[Wait. Both of them had just turned a corner, hadn't they? Zelos had started moving towards something with Sheena, and the shadow that had hung over Link's shoulders since his death and arrival in Vatheon had finally, finally lifted. She's never forgotten the documents that were uncovered over the summer and just what they suggest the experiments are meant to evoke.
If that really is the case, what use would Zelos and Link be now?
Her mind starts racing, looking for a pattern in other disappearances she can remember. Sure enough, in most cases the people that vanish seemed to become quiet not too long before disappearing. They'd started to accept things, or they simply became apathetic. Zelda's fist tightens over her communicator.]
...I suppose I already know what your answer to this sort of request will be. I apologize for disturbing you.
[She hangs up abruptly. There's no way she could speak with this woman right now without screaming. But she'll hold on to that anger, if her theory is correct it should ensure she'll never disappear from the city. She'll make them regret this twisted system.]
Shortly after the shenanigans involving musclebeast milk and teen hooligans in the bakery..
and backdated to then because I am a massive failure -
[If she sounds disgruntled, it's because she is. Damn you C, taking out a hit on her underwear drawer!]

D --> I am certain you are well aware of the underwater barrier's flickering
D --> Would you wish for a barrier made to keep your clinic safe if the worst case scenario were to strike
D --> Which is to say
D --> The barrier disappearing and the city becoming flooded
D --> It would keep your building dry and safe until we could venture down at a later date
private
[That's as close to a "yes" as he's going to get. Even if the barrier was cracked she wouldn't ask for help from the foreigners.]

D --> I'm sure you have your own contingency plans just in case, of course
