[ History ] :

[ Personality ] :
Sebastian is a Jamaican crab serving as trusted advisor and court composer for the king of Atlantica, an underwater realm oddly close to a suspiciously-European-esque kingdom. Somehow, this makes perfect sense, and these are duties that he takes very seriously because they are important and they make him important. In fact, if he were a dish, he’d be stuffed crab; the little guy’s just full of himself. Despite his tiny size, Sebastian has a big ego and loves the attention, to the point that he will embellish certain facts to even his own parents in order to get it. He has all of the stereotypical flaws that come with being a pompous windshell too; he talks big right before displaying impressive cowardice, is a snooty little snob, and hates being humiliated. Clearly, he knows what’s what, and if he were the one in charge, well, this is how he’d do things.
In some cases, the little crab even knows what the hell he’s bubbling on about. Musical composition is an art form he excels at anytime and anyplace, and it can be argued that he’s more knowledgeable on several matters than even King Triton himself. Sebastian even shows that he has a very good grasp on the workings of romance, and he has exceptional skill in social niceties, such as the organizing of parties and gatherings. He’s got talent and know-how, and he’s very aware of it. He even often finds himself in the role of royal babysitter, where he shows a keen ability to whine and complain and fret and help certain mermaids break the rules anyway. Your daughters sure are safe with him! No worries about them flitting off to marry human princes they’ve just barely met or anything!
The thing is, Sebastian’s attitude is more or less all meaningless posturing. Under that layer of self-importance, he can be quite a reliable and sympathetic fellow. He tries his hardest to be strict and cling to his appointed authority, but when it comes down to it, more often than not, he’ll put someone else’s happiness before his own sense of duty. His loyalty to those he cares for can never even be called into question, and for all his fussing and boasting, his intentions are good at the core. Most of the time.
One would think that a court composer as esteemed as Sebastian would be pretty... composed. But while he certainly does try to present himself this way, the truth is, you could perhaps say he’s... prawn to getting steamed. He has an abundance of temper and a lack of patience, which is never a good mix. And to make it worse, he’s more melodramatic than the teenaged girls he looks after, often letting his imagination get the better of him. Sometimes he’s just inside himshell with worry or fear, and this can lead him to overreacting, whether or not it’s unfounded. But that doesn’t mean he can’t hold himself together when his friends need him to. Sebastian is actually quite capable of holding his own when it counts. He’s also perfectly capable of letting loose and having a good time. In fact, when life’s not going all wrong on him, Sebastian loves to surround himself with music and people and just have fun.
His life shore can be hard, but at the end of the day, you can count on Sebastian to not crack under the pressure.
[ Strengths/Weaknesses ] :
Sebastian has many strengths, and he’d gladly talk about all of them. His talent and love for musical composition and performance are a huge part of his character. He’s very intelligent, and good at thinking outside the shell. His loyalty and dependability are also some of his greatest strengths, and despite his attitude, he has certain magnetism that lures people together like worms on a hook for random fun and musical numbers.
As for his weaknesses, well... let’s address the whale in the room. He’s got a big issue with his little size, and one could easily assume that this insecurity feeds into his great ego. Sebastian is so stuck on being impressive and important that he will even sink low enough to lie. He struggles in the net of guilt when it comes to following orders or doing what he feels is the right thing, even if he does make the best choice in the end. And he worries and frets a lot, sometimes being reduced to a nervous shipwreck.
[ Other Important Facts ] :
Sebastian is a Disney character, meaning he sometimes breaks out in song for no reason and this is perfectly normal, somehow. He also seems to be perfectly fine spending lots of time out of water, has teeth, and speaks in a thick Jamaican accent. While not outright puns, the sea-living characters in his canon use ocean-related terms casually in everyday conversation; an example being when Ariel is “beached.” (Grounded.)
[ Sample ] :
[Scuttle scuttle. Scuttle scuttle. What’s that sound? Why, it’s the sound a small Caribbean crab makes as it drags its starfish device down the street, muttering and grunting to itself. This could... take a while...]
The nerve of these humans, as if stealing innocent fish from the sea wasn’t enough for them, now they go and take the whole sea for themselves, too! They have no manners, scribbling on unsuspecting fishfolk like this. When I find that girl I’m going to give her a piece of my mind and drag her straight--
[A high-pitched, completely undignified sound escapes from the crab’s mouth as the thing he’s dragging starts making noise, and he tucks his legs and head into his shell in the blink of an eye. The device stops, and the crab gives it a wary poke.]
[Nothing.]
[With a relieved sigh, the crab appears to relax.]
Letting her go was a mistake, and if it was up to me I’d--
[The device goes off again, and the crab is gone. If any unknown observers really cared to find it, they might notice a little, shaking, red-shelled something hiding under a stray scrap of paper a good few feet away. He’s not scared or nothing, he’s just keeping an eye on that suspcious thing from a perfectly reasonable distance!]
[Sebastian doesn’t know what’s going on, but if there’s humans and strange starfish-shaped human things, he’s sure Ariel is involved somehow, and he will get to the bottom of this nonsense and save her.]
[...This really might take a while.]

[ Character's Name ] : Hashiba Hideyoshi
[ Character's Age ] : 35 according to Koei canon, so, why not.
[ Series ] : Samurai Warriors 2
[ Canon Point ] : Post Battle of Yamazaki, having just defeated Akechi Mitsuhide (hence the Hashiba surname; he hasn’t adopted the Toyotomi name yet).
[ History ] :
Thank you, Koei wiki!
[ Personality ] :
Goofy, cheerful and laid back, Hideyoshi is often hard to take seriously, and usually doesn’t mind that much. He’s excitable, humorous and good-humored, silly and childish at times and not particularly careful of either his dignity or his honor. He laughs loudly, plays hard, takes his lumps with joke and a shrug and doesn’t bother putting up too much of a face to go with his position. Even dressed head to toe in gold, his humble beginnings shine through; he is casual, approachable and warm, and likes to make people laugh, even at his own expense.
He isn’t only called “Monkey” for his antics, though. Hideyoshi is very, very clever. Crafty and cunning, an improviser and quick thinker known for throwing together unlikely solutions, he has relied on his wits all his life and they have brought him far indeed. Though uneducated and uncultured, again due to his low status in early life, he’s capable of trading quips and verbally sparring with the best of them, and has proven himself singularly talented as a tactician and, more importantly, a diplomat. He has a knack for managing people, either soldiers, subordinates, workers or even enemies. It helps that he’s quite so affable and casual and can be so humble, but he is also a realist, a man of perspective and a long-term thinker. His modus operandi was probably best demonstrated when, upon hearing of his lord’s demise while fighting on a distant front, he was able to make peace with the enemy and march his army back to claim vengeance within a mere eleven days. This also shows his decisiveness: it takes him little to no time to choose his course, and once chosen, he rarely if ever hesitates.
Earthy and sometimes even vulgar, Hideyoshi loves luxury, hoards money and is an incorrigible womanizer. He enjoys showing off his wealth, too, giving gifts and making grandiose gestures, though his kindness is never quite the equal of his greed and he does not truly like sharing. Having practically clawed his way up the social ladder, he revels in his gains and always has his eyes set on gaining more. He isn’t prickly about his origins, but does have pride in his achievements; mock him for a peasant all you want, but imply that he hasn’t worked for his position, and you will be at the dangerous receiving side of his otherwise extremely rare anger.
And there lies what is perhaps both Hideyoshi’s greatest asset and greatest flaw: he does not understand the meaning of enough. No amount of money, number of women, position title or power will ever be enough. He is fiercely, uncompromisingly, dangerously ambitious, willing to suffer and sacrifice – and worse. A resourceful opportunist and cold assessor of situations and changes, he does not linger even on the most personal of moments – he acts, and acts swiftly, even when his actions may seem inhumane. As Nobunaga’s retainer, he was happy to serve under the man to whom he owed everything, a man he loved and admired despite all his cruelties. But now Nobunaga is dead, and Hideyoshi knows that on his own path, the only way is forward. He tells his own most trusted retainer, Ishida Mitsunari, that he wishes to create a land where everyone can be happy; but that is an ultimate goal with a long and tangled path along it. And along that path, he will do whatever must be done.
Although his easy cheer and warm nature make him easy to like and befriend, Hideyoshi rarely if ever allows even the ones he loves most all the way in. He wants to spare them the darker parts of his chosen path, the horrors of conquest and war; wants for them to trust him and to have no concern for the bigger picture. It’s almost with desperation that he tells his wife, Nene, to smile even in the midst of bloody battle. He says the same to his closest friend, Saika Magoichi, when he comes to recruit him to his side despite the fact that Magoichi was the one responsible for the death of Hideyoshi’s lord and friend. In Hideyoshi’s mind, it’s best that everyone just smiles, and leaves the thinking and the hard choices to him alone.
[ Strengths/Weaknesses ] :
Strengths:
"Make it want to sing". Hideyoshi is bright, cunning and quick-witted, an able tactician and brilliant diplomat, who works best by pegging down and figuring out his enemies in order to handle them. He has skill and experience in organizing endeavors both large and small and has away with words – and with money. He may not be particularly educated, but he's a fast learner who lives and breathes resourcefulness.
While not a strong man or an unusually skilled fighter, he is fast, nimble and ruthless on the field, which tends to compensate. Read: he's a freakishly efficient speed-oriented character who does crazy breakdancing monkey moves. Since nobody knows how on earth all the Musou moves and specials and whatnot are supposed to work in-world, we’ll just, handily ignore them. That is probably the sanest route.
Weaknesses:
To be frank, he's a greedy, gluttonous, lecherous little jerk. Temptation – money, sex, luxury – hits Hideyoshi hard. He just can't say no to shining baubles and pretty faces, no matter the trouble they might cost him. Nor is he particularly honorable in this respect. Hideyoshi gets what he wants. What's the point of having shaken off his peasant origins, otherwise?
Physically, Hideyoshi is short and skinny and breakable. Fragile speedster, all that. Get a hold of him and you can snap his puny spine over your knee. He's not unhealthy but not robust. And they don't call him Monkey because of those quick hands, either – it has rather more to do with his, shall we say unfortunate face. He is not your dashing samurai hero and he knows it.
[ Other Important Facts ] :
None come to mind!
[ Sample ] :
From his brief stint at Soul Campaign, meeting Basara!Mitsunari. Tragedy ensues.

[ Personality ] :
Nack has no loyalties to anything or anyone. Whatever he does, he does for money (and, by extension in his mind, women), and he’s willing to do absolutely anything to get it. Theft, murder, kidnapping, he’ll even betray his “allies” in a pinch. And he usually gets away with it, on account of his being sly and smart as a whip.
While he’s not the type to lose his temper that quickly, Nack has some slight anger issues. For the most part, this is because he does not handle blows to his pride very well. He might not lose his cool, but he knows how to hold a grudge. Even then he won’t let his personal problems put his work or more importantly himself at risk, but he will really, really enjoy it when he does get his chance to get back at somebody.
Ordinarily he comes across as rude, shifty, and completely untrustworthy. Of course that’s bad for business, so he acts straight around his clients and partners. This usually still means rude and shifty, but in a much more likeable or at least less dubious way.
Otherwise, speaking to him for any length reveals a very arrogant individual. He is confident in himself, and condescending. This gives him a tendency to tease and monologue to his victims—or people that he just doesn’t like. However this only really happens when his own safety is assured.
When his own safety is not assured he’s an absolute coward who will run at the first sign of trouble. In short, he has no redeeming qualities.
[ Strengths/Weaknesses ] :
Nack is a master of marksmanship. He can handle rifles and handguns with unbelievable accuracy. While he owns any number of firearms, his silver revolver is the only one that he usually keeps with him.
He is also crafty, and a smooth talker. It’s usually in his better interest to have his allies trust or even like him, so he’ll often put on an act. Otherwise he has a knack for talking his way out of tight spots.
On the other hand, Nack’s physical abilities are nothing to write home about. Without his guns or gadgets he’s all but helpless.
This is befitting, as he’s quite cowardly. If a situation turns he can switch straight from haughty condescension to running like a bat out of hell.
His personality and tendency to betray people leaves him friendless, and with no shortage of enemies. He is mostly okay with this (money buys happiness) but it means he has to rely on himself if he ever runs into a problem.
He has a sister whom he despises, but deep down he wants her approval. This is the closest to sentimental that he will ever get.
Then of course there is his greed. Being the driving factor behind most if not all of his actions, this is the thing that is most likely to get him into trouble. He will attempt dangerous things for money, but he keeps a close eye on such situations and knows when it’s better to cut and run. Even so, all of his successes come from taking advantage of other, sometimes dangerous, people. One could say that he’s digging his own grave.
[ Other Important Facts ] :
In spite of his name, Nack is half wolf.

... http://aselia.wikia.com/wiki/Tales_of_Vesperia Provides the basics of the overall game plot.
If you want the full details, I have a literally novel-length version I can post and link up.
Rita's status after the game's events is not detailed as much as the full array of paintings in the credits would imply, thanks to little details like their directly contradicting at least one sidequest.
[ Personality ] :
Rita, at first glance, is antisocial, serious, and quick to get annoyed... Often to the point of violence. The severity of her attacks is proportionate to her view of the individual - young, derpy Karol would often get a swat upside the head, while the older pervert of the group, Raven, was often kicked and even got to experience Rita's fireballs (which seem to be her personal favorite magic outside of battle. Strangely, the basic battle magics best for her to use are water-element). (Even Yuri and Estelle aren't safe - Yuri takes a swat to the gut at one point, and both get fireballed in the face during the play in Nam Cobanda...) She also tends to view significant things as inherently involving risk and sacrifice, becoming bullheaded about a decision to do much of anything in spite of the risks.
This impatient streak even extends to her combat style, which tends to be quick, efficient to the point of recklessness, and heavy on massive spells. (If she says "Blah blah blah," it's already too late to run.) She does not like fights lasting long, and gets pissy if knocked down due to the inevitable dirt and dust on her clothes from when it happens. She does maintain several techniques for fighting at a closer range, including techniques such as card tossing, but dislikes using them. She really likes using her magic, even in odd climes - for example, forgetting how hot she is in the desert by spamming fire magic. (Yes, FIRE magic. In the desert.) Out of the party, she is the one most likely to wonder about the recurring gag of Yuri being cursed, due to how often he ends up fighting and how much weirdness happens around him.
Rita's antisocial streak is largely borne out of a fairly large obsession with her research, and a still-present distrust of people. She, for most of her life, has believed blastia to be more reliable than humans, even naming them and personifying them. This partially pays off in her sheer level of genius in all manner of areas of science, and ability to learn things rapidly - but at the cost of severe social awkwardness and eccentricity. (Her tendency to personify objects is NOT limited to blastia.) Further, there are few ways to frustrate her further than to interrupt her research, at any time, for any reason. Quite simply, she is not used to any significant relationships outside of professional ones, even after a significant time with Yuri's group. And even after all this time, when something inspires her, she can run into streams of ideas, and gets a little too happy when something inspires her research.
She can warm up to people over time - particularly, this is demonstrated to Estelle, who went out of her way to try and bring Rita into a social life, neither having had a friend their own age before. (Well, Rita's a few years younger than Estelle, but close enough). Rita is closer to Estelle than almost anyone, to a level of dere-dere that may indicate something more along the lines of an active love for Estelle - not that Rita would EVER admit it. While most of the party besides Estelle joke about it one way or another (to the point of Yuri calling them "Ristelle"), it's hard to wonder if Estelle wouldn't be interested. This, in turn, has also opened her up to social relationships, at least with some people familiar to Estelle, over time. Note, however, that building friendship with Rita does not protect one from Rita's often violent tendencies - in fact, as Raven can attest, in some ways it makes her more wrathful, and she occasionally is (subtly) mean to even Estelle...

[ Age ] : Nineteen
[ Timezone ] : GMT -8
[ Other Characters ] : NADA
[ Character's Name ] : The Netherlands
[ Character's Age ] : WHO CAN REALLY SAY. He physically appears about his early- to mid-twenties.
[ Series ] : Axis Powers Hetalia
[ History ] : Hetalia Wiki & Notes on the page | Netherlands Wiki & Netherlands History Wiki
[ Personality ] :
The Netherlands is a complete neatfreak when it comes to living spaces. He says that he cleans every single day and he would rather eat outside than dirty his kitchen. He doesn't like people touching his things because it will dirty them or move them from their rightful place. He has signs outside his home that say "Self service" and "Take off your shoes" which illustrate his aloof and tidy personality. He takes the most pride in his cleanly kitchen and gardens. He has a hatred for messy things including tangles and knots.
Belgium says that her brother is "stingy with money" and it's clear from his actions that he has an obsession with making money and maintaining his wealth. In the strips he's shown not to go Dutch when paying a bill if it's to his disadvantage and he buys fish from Poland and Lithuania only to pickle, salt, and sell it at a higher price. He's a good businessman, refusing to accept a lower price than what he demands. He's even willing to sell arms to his enemy as long as they pay him.
He has a very quiet demeanor. In one strip, he's shown to watch from a distance and walks off before Austria can see him stalking around. He's the silent, brooding type. He won't say more than necessary, not seeming very friendly even with his faithful trading partners. If anything, his responses are secretive, short, and vague. In other words, he's tricky. Even though he's very to the point with his speech and actions, he's a lover of romantic poetry.
He's not the friendliest of the bunch. In a small blurb, it's said that he usually plays rough. Though he's willing to talk shop and interact with others, he won't pay for them, he doesn't reveal his methods, and he tends to push on without waiting for others or explaining himself. He's impatient yet finds it a nuisance if he's the one interrupted. He doesn't make many demands but when he does, he expects them to be followed thoroughly and immediately. In fact, he's a bit rude. Rather than saying please and thank you, he'd just silently hold his cup out and wait for it to be refilled.
He's very close to his sister Belgium even though they were estranged for a long time. That's probably why he's not the warmest with her although he wants to make an effort: she decided on independence rather than joining him. His rabbit says that he's lonely after the fight with Belgium and that's why he makes efforts to keep relationship with Japan. Belgium is one of the few countries that seems to understand him, or at least isn't too shocked by his behavior behind the pokerface. When she asks to see Santa Claus for Christmas, the Netherlands says he'll bring Santa to her, promises, and even writes a note saying that he remembers his promise. Even though he hates Spain, he forces Spain into a Santa suit and brings him to Belgium since he said he would bring Santa to her. He makes an effort to please her.
He doesn't like Spain and Himaruya writes that he beat Spain up. He refuses to eat with Spain around and will often watch Spain from afar before walking away. For the 2010 Christmas Event, he keeps telling Spain to go away and threatens to attack him when Spain won't relent. Christmas isn't enough to cheer his Grinch heart, a true year-round downer. He drags Spain in the 2011 Christmas Event though Germany pays him in a shady way, showing the lengths he requires to be friendly with Spain.
He has a strong relationship with Japan. He couldn't be too hard on Japan during his isolantionist period. He was the only one Japan kept in touch with and brought a summary of European activity every visit. Even though he's goes out of his way to see Japan, he isn't the most delicate. He states that Japan should open his borders and when he refuses, lets sunlight hit Japan and attempts to detangle him from his sheets by force. In the Christmas event, Denmark goes to make friends with Japan but Netherlands doesn't allow him to visit.
He has a pet rabbit, he smokes, and he's around Germany and Denmark's height. Yeah. That's about all we know about him.
[ Strengths/Weaknesses ] :
He's a nation so his health and age depend on his peoples. Other than that, he doesn't have any supernatural abilities but here's a quick run down:
+ Business savvy / - Ultra stingy
+ Ultra clean / - Somewhat neurotic
+ Keeps few really close / - Usually unfriendly
[ Other Important Facts ] :
"Initially, Netherlands was said to be a strong strategist and world-dominating type of man who likes very young women and thinks nothing of using some types of shady drugs." This seems to float around a lot but I have yet to actually find where Himaruya wrote this. Xenophobic and tsundere are also sifting amongst the information of the interbutts though these are early speculations. His introduction to the canon seems to deviate slightly (he's seen in the company of other nations but his less-than-friendly demeanor doesn't automatically mean xenophobic). As there's nothing to contradict it explicitly and his trickiness is rather strategic, these are traits I'll incorporate into what is already shown from the canon.

[In response to the latest curse!]
He didn't know how this had happened. Why had it happened? What had he done to bring this upon himself? Normally there was some kind of sign: recession, civil war, something. Never did it come so suddenly but then again, Netherlands had never lived a day without failing to clean his his kitchen.
But there was always a time for the first. There he was, confined to his bed with a hot towel over his forehead and his sheets pulled up to his nose, unwilling to wear his scarf in the fear he might smear snot on it. Tomorrow for sure he would change the linens, steam press his clothes, and scrub every inch of the room. No way was he letting this disease remain in the confines of his home! But as it were, he lay in his bed, quarantining himself within the apartment, and too stubborn to set a foot outside his door lest he contaminate the kitchen.
He couldn't smoke because he'd start coughing. He refused to cough because then he'd spread the virus. In fact he was convinced anything he did at that point would only escalate his very mild case of the common bug. If it hadn't been for the fact that he seemed to catch it overnight, he would have avoided his home completely. Now he'd have to do an entire sweep of the apartment just so he could rest knowing he'd eradicated the origins of it. But as for now, all he could do was glower at the ceiling and pull another sheet from the nearby armory of tissue boxes on his nightstand.
Plenty of sleep and plenty of water. That was the best way to combat a cold and best of all, it was free. Since arriving in Vatheon, he'd stalked a number of the business around and was well aware of that there was such thing as "delivery", but the last thing he'd do was pay for somebody else to bring him dinner. He grumbled at the mere idea of it and slapped his hand over his mouth. Now there was an unsettling thought attempting to creep out again.

[ Character's Name ] : Anri Sonohara
[ Character's Age ] : 15, but I'm aging her up to 17
[ Series ] : Name DURARARA!!
[ Canon Point ] : Post-series
[ History ] :
wikiiiiiiiiii
[ Personality ] :
As cliche as it sounds, Anri is a very misunderstood girl and is debilitatingly shy and reserved. She was once very close friends with Mika Harima, though they both knew used each other to make each other look better. When Mika disappeared, however, Anri became a little lost and began to withdraw into herself. Bullies from her class have called her a parasite, which is a good way to put it- she's dependent to a fault.
She considers herself unable to love, namely because of how she closed her heart to the world when she was younger. It's proven to be somewhat wrong by Izaya Orihara, however, when he threatens to shoot a couple of strangers in front of her. Her lack of strong emotion helps her in successfully controlling the Saika blade, though, as Saika takes advantage of love and other emotions to possess her wielder.
She's surprisingly loyal to and protective of those close to her, however. She's willing to do anything to protect Mikado and Masaomi, especially since they also have their secrets to keep. She sends members of the Saika army to protect Dollars members when the war between them and the Yellow Scarves reached a fever pitch, and shows up at the showdown of the Yellow Scarves and Blue Squares to help support her two friends. When Masaomi is about to be killed by the leader of the Blue Squares, a Yellow Scarf stops him, claiming 'Mother would be sad if this one were to die'. Though she sees herself as the parasite the bullies call her, she does what she can to not simply rely on her friends for companionship.
[ Strengths/Weaknesses ] :
- Wielder of the demonic blade Saika; is able to draw it from the palm of her hand, as it resides in her blood. Is a much more skilled swordsman than her appearance would lead you to believe.
- Anyone who is cut by Saika becomes part of the Saika Army, and she can bend them to her will as she sees fit. From what we've seen, she's only used them for good causes.
- Is cripplingly shy, and opens up very slowly.
- Masaomi comments at one point in the anime, "That's my boobylicious Anri for you- even a bunny suit looks great on you." Not really an ability, but she does attract a lot of what she considers undue attention.
- Will most likely cling (figuratively) to anyone from the canon since there are so many strangers in this little jamjar.
[ Other Important Facts ] :
Not really important, but... Her birthday is Halloween. :3 And equally unimportant- her favorite quote is by Aristotle: "A friend is a second self". Which is funny, because that's essentially what Saika's Children are.
