◣ Canon Update ◢

Want your character to suddenly be from a different canon point than that which you put on their application? Never fear! That is what this post is for. Just comment here, using the form, and you'll be set! It might be nice to let everyone know on the vatheonooc as well, as your character will be disappearing for a time. ICly, your character will feel the sudden, inexplicable, powerful urge to touch the coral. And when he or she touches it, the marking on their body will glow red for a brief moment, and then they will disappear. They will reappear three Vatheon days later, no matter how much time passed in their canon, having experienced all that occurred between the original canon point and the new one. They may reappear anywhere in Vatheon, not just the center plaza, so feel free to be creative! The character may also reappear after a longer period than three days if that is more convenient, however three days is the barest minimum of time the character will be out of Vatheon. Original canon point: Taking "original" to mean "most recent", since he was updated once, that was his last conversation with John on the meteor, just before John set off the Scratch.
New canon point: Post-revival by Jane, about when John and Jade disappear.
Major changes: No special new powers or anything, but Karkat will have spent three years on the meteor, growing gradually more isolated as others get sucked up in their own drama. So, he'll be able to appreciate being around friends again after all that, but he'll still be ornery as ever. Perhaps moreso than he's been, since Vath had mellowed him out some. He'll also definitely understand a lot more of the craziness going on than what hearsay he's had here.
