Please note that as of July 28th, Vatheon will start working towards end game.
August 31st is the last day for applying. We will no longer open applications after that. Thank you for your consideration.
» Please make sure that you read the rules, and check the reserves before applying. People who do not read the rules will be rejected immediately.
» You are allowed to apply for two characters per application cycle. You may also reserve two characters. We will try to review each application as soon as possible. If longer than a week has passed and you have not heard back anything about your application, please drop us a message.
» Don't lie in your application. Don't copy / paste things from wiki. Keep what you post in your application strictly you. Sure, it's hard to add your own flair to writing history or a personality, but try to keep from summarizing too much. Show us your shine! Plagiarizing another player's application is ground for an immediate rejection.
» If someone has a reserve for a character, and you want to apply for them, you have the choice of either A) challenging the application with one of your own or B) waiting until the reserve expires and then applying/reserving as the character. If you challenge the original reserver, your application will not be reviewed until the original reserver has submitted theirs.
» Currently, the character limit is five characters. Any more is up to the mods, and must be discussed ahead of time with them. You may only apply for two characters from the same canon.
» Keep spamming to a minimum on the applications. Wait until that person is accepted into the game before holding out a conversation on a thread. Comment spamming here makes things cluttered, and a mod may accidentally miss something important. ( But feel free to comment-spam the Reserve page, if you'd like. )

» Please finish your application before posting. We reserve the right to decline any applications that are still unfinished when we process them.
» When reviewing applications, we take opinions of our members into consideration. If you would like to make a comment about an app that is being decided upon, do not hesitate. ( Character's Age ) : There is no set age limit for the characters, and in fact, this is very flexible. So long as your character is mature enough to take care of him or herself and is mature enough for the game, they can be apped! As a basic guideline, think the maturity of someone around the age of 13 or so.
( Series ) :
( Canon Point ) : What part of the story of the series is your character coming in after? Did he or she just die? Did something traumatic just happen? Is it near the end, the beginning, or the middle? Tell us!
( Playability ) : If you are apping your second person for a particular canon, please give us a quick reasoning on why the characters would not be extensively interacting/how you are planning to avoid any playercest issues. If you are not apping from a canon you already play in, please disregard this section.
( History ) : You may provide us with a link to a wiki-page, or something else that will sufficiently give the Community and the mods background on your canon. If you wish to write out the history yourself, you still may do such.
( Personality ) : Probably the most important part of the application! Tell us what your character is like. We're looking for a well-developed analysis of the character. Perhaps between three to five paragraphs, roughly. Feel free to do more or less, however, if you think that better suits you. Most applications will be closer to the three than the five, and that's completely okay!
Just make sure to hit on crucial aspects of that character. What does he or she like? What does he or she hate? What are his or her motives? What parts of your character's past influenced how they are? Does your character act differently in front of different groups of people? Think of these questions as you write. Feel free to go off the page and focus on other questions. The above questions were just to get you thinking.
( Strengths/Weaknesses ) : So tell us! What can your character do well? What is your character weak against? Any cool spells? Good at picking locks? Anything you can think of, put it here.
( Other Important Facts ) : Have something else important to mention about your character that doesn't really fit in anywhere else? Be sure to include it here!
( Sample ) : This can be in first person or third person. There's no limit to your sample post. Just be sure to include your character's voice. Don't just write your character walking around! Be sure to include thoughts, quirks, and anything else that shows us you know your character. How would he or she react to the mark? How would he or she react to waking up some place new? Is he or she still brooding over something? The sample does not have to be set in Vatheon. You may also link to other roleplay threads; just be sure to give us something that shows how you plan to play them and clearly shows their voice! Or feel free to do a few of the above. If you are unable to think of a good starting point for a sample, we collected some prompts of situations that are pretty likely to happen within Vatheon to start you off. You are very welcome to deviate from these prompts or come up with something completely new. This is just something to hopefully help you get started:☆ A new curse has settled upon the city of Vatheon: Suddenly you character realizes they are unable to lie for the duration of a week. How do they react?

☆ Suddenly, by the force of Vatheon, an over zealous npc, or even your character's friends playing a joke, your character suddenly finds themselves wearing clothes they otherwise would never wear. What do?

Wiki Info! Akashi Seijuro "The King". He was the captain of the Generation of Miracles during their era at Teiko Middle School, and now he is the captain of Rakuzan High School.
On his first day of Junior High, he was dropped to school by his driver, the driver said he wanted to accompany Akashi, but Akashi declined and insisted that he at least have some freedom at his school. He then joined the Teiko Basketball Club, and later become 1 of the 4 freshmen that actually made it to Teiko’s Basketball first string already, along with Midorima, Aomine, and Murasakibara.
One day, he found out that Aomine had been practicing with Kuroko, and he directly saw Kuroko’s potential, even though his power is different that from Generation of Miracles’ power. He then challenged Kuroko to prove himself and he gave him some method, and then he arranged things so that Teiko’s upper line can see Kuroko’s power, and at last Kuroko is permitted to enter the first string, thanks to Akashi.
After some practice and matches, Nijimura, Teiko’s captain at that time, had already recognized Akashi’s potential and asked Teiko’s upperclassman to promote Akashi as Teiko’s next captain. After this point, Akashi replaced Nijimura as Teiko’s captain. Due to the captaincy shift, a lot of things changed. Akashi started off with disposing Haizaki from the team, saying that he will only cause trouble for the team. He had already sense the one who will replace Haizaki, which was Kise, and as usual, he already saw through Kise’s potential and stated that he will overpower Haizaki in no time. It was also noted that his eyes changed sometime during his middle school days, but the reason of this is still unknown.
He later joined Rakuzan High School after he graduated from Teiko, and as expected, he became their captain on his first year. Rakuzan won the Interhigh tournament, even though Akashi didn’t participate, and it was also revealed that Akashi prohibited Aomine and Murasakibara from playing in the Interhigh, he also said that if he participate then the tournament will no longer be “fun”.
During the Winter Cup series, he called out his former teammates, which was the GoM, to make sure that they didn’t forget their “oath”. This is also the debut appearance of Akashi in the manga. The story flows until Rakuzan met Shutoku in Winter Cup’s semi-finals and Akashi made his debut game in the Winter Cup. Even though Shutoku’s Midorima showed a great fight to cornered Rakuzan, Akashi easily reversed the flow ,crushed Shutoku and won the game with 16 points margin. He then later showed watching the game between Seirin and Kaijou High, and made some comments about the match.
Seirin advances to the final, and Akashi had already warned Kuroko to be careful, since he was the one who discovered Kuroko’s power. Now he is waiting for the match time between Rakuzan and Seirin in the final.
Re: Revisions
When coming to personality, Akashi is kind of a mixbag. In one side, he is caring and gentle, while in other side, he’s merciless and prideful. It’s like Akashi has “dual personality” and it's unpredictable to tell which one will he act on. Even Midorima, his vice-captain, stated that there are 2 different Akashis and left confused on which one is the “real” him.
Akashi start off by showing that he is a calm and gentle person with a good attitude, everyone can’t deny his “perfection” as a person. Because of this, almost everyone respected and admired him. He was also shown to be extremely considerate with his comrades, nagging at them and tell them to do things the right way , and Aomine even marked Akashi as the Generation of Miracles’ “Mother”.
Not only he has some good attitudes, but Akashi is shown to be extremely intelligent. Right off after he joined Teiko Basketall Club, Nijumura, Teiko’s captain at that time, quickly recognized Akashi’s intelligence and that was why Nijimura recommended him to be promoted as Teiko’s captain.
Akashi is also a great shogi player, and an amazing strategist. He is the type of a person that plans a step further from his opponent without them being aware of it. A good example of this is when he faced of Shutoku High. He “intentionally” slowed down for the first 2 quarters, just to observe his opponents’ weaknesses and then broke them down on the last 2 quarters, even Takao and Midorima stated that they were not aware that they had been caught in Akashi’s trap.
Aside of his intelligence, Akashi also possesses great leadership skills and an insanely great charisma. He was able to make a group of prideful people like the Generation of Miracles knuckles down to him, respected him very much and also lead them to their glorious days. This also happens in his days at Rakuzan High, he was also able to make the 3 Uncrowned Generals let him to lead the team, even though those 3 people are also extremely prideful.
His charisma was displayed when he said that he will gouge out his eyes if they lose the match against Shutoku. Even though it sounded crazy, his teammates actually believed it and later became more serious on the game. This shows that everyone takes Akashi’s word seriously, and it easily influences and inspires his teammates.
But as I said, despite all those “perfection” Akashi can also be a merciless and bastard-like person. He gladly eliminates people that he thinks unworthy anymore. Just like he disposed Haizaki from Teiko Basketball Club, stating that Haizaki can only cause trouble and it was better to let him out from the team. He also dislikes people who disobeyed him, or look down on him. He stated that he will gladly “kill” those who oppose him. His seriousness is shown when he attacked Kagami with a scissors right after Kagami refused to leave as Akashi ordered him.
Akashi is also extremely prideful. Maybe the most prideful person in the GoM. Akashi usually says phrases like “My orders are absolute.” Or “I, who always win, am always right.” This may sound arrogant, but arrogant may not be the best way to describe it. It’s more like pride, because it is true that Akashi never experiences any failure in his life yet, and no one has proven him wrong once. That is why he always believes that he knows everything and what he do is always right.
But even though he is a genius, he is different than that of Aomine. While Aomine becomes too strong and too skilled until he is bored and slacks off on practice, Akashi is different. Despite being “perfect”, he never stopped training. In fact, he is extremely hardworking. Even their teammates are confused why a genius like Akashi can be so hardworking. But Akashi will do everything to achieve victory, because winning like him is like breathing, so it’s a must to have it.
Around his friends, he’s quite friendly and attentive, as I stated above. He is also caring but also strict.
Around his enemies, he is shown to be extremely cautious and merciless at the same time, and will do whatever it takes to win.
Around strangers, he act normal but at the same time cautious and showed no mercy if they dare to oppose him.
So to sum up, Akashi is a mixbag (as far as the series now) he has some of that may call dual personality, have a good side, but has some evil side too, but nevertheless, he’s someone I call near to perfect.

( Strengths/Weaknesses ) :
Strength:
Observation Skills – Akashi has been known for discovering hidden talents, and also seeing flaws and opportunities, his observation skills is exceptional.
Emperor Eye – Fictional Power. Akashi’s Eyes can detect impulses from human body and predict what will they do next. To put it simply, it sees the future.
Charisma – He has great charisma, able to influence easily people around him.
Manipulation – Or I may say he’s an amazing strategist. He can go a step further from his opponent even without them realizing.
Weaknesses:
Inability to fight? – Well just saying, he isn’t a warrior, so he’s just a defenseless guy when it comes to battle.

( Sample ) :
Akashi is on a morning stroll with his vice captain, Midorima, discussing things as usual.
“Shintarou, I suppose things are working out well now.”
He said with confidence. Midorima just nod signaling that he agrees.
“Ryouta is also doing pretty well, despite his new appearance. I expect him to be better in 1 or 2 weeks.”
Midorima makes a funny face, and then he raises his concern about Aomine skipping practice lately.
“Yes, I’m aware of that. I should give Daiki a warning, if he continues to slack off it might affect our team’s morale.”
Akashi becomes a little more serious. Midorima touch his glasses and nod.
“Well, there is no time for relaxing, winter tournament is coming up, and defeat is not an option. We will have Kise ready at that time, so be prepared yourself, Shintarou.”
Akashi packs his bag, and part ways with Midorima. He then meet up with Aomine halfway. Aomine just greet him lightly, and about to take his leave.
“Wait, Daiki.”
Daiki stopped and turn around, looking lazily at Akashi.
“You have been skipping training lately, what happened?”
Aomine just shook his head and can’t say a thing.
“I don’t care what your reasons are, but you better show up in training after this. If you skipped them once, I will need to have you benched the whole tournament.”
Aomine is shocked, but then he understands and nod to Akashi. Akashi then take his leave while he heading downstairs.
( Vatheon based Sample ) :
Akashi eyes felt hard. Slowly, he opened his eyes. He heard the sounds of the water flowing around, his vision was still blurring. He patted his own head, trying to pull himself together again. Then he realized, he was soaking wet.
What is this? He was left on confusion. He tried to dry himself up, and while he did that, he found a mark on his chest.
“A mark? This seems off. At least I must check where I am now.”
He then wondered around the place, but found nothing familiar. It was not near his school, nor the Winter Cup place, and this does not looked like Japan at all. The Finals start tomorrow and he remembered he was taking a nap for a while. Was this just a dream? Well he didn’t know for sure, but it might be one of the possibilities.
After some time, he met a stranger. So he decided to get a clue and ask him.
“Excuse me, but can you tell me what this place is?”
He asked confidently yet polite. The stranger didn’t really give significant details, but then he found out that he was on a world called “Vatheon”. It certainly is beyond his expectations, but he decided not to take stupid actions and it’s better to gather more information about this place first. He also found out about the StarFish communicator, though he didn’t really found it particularly helpful either.
“Maybe Shintarou and the others can also be on this place. Let see where this path leads me to.”
He continues to walk forward, and it leads to an expected place, a city that is.
“This might be a good start.”
He walk towards the city while holding the starfish communicator.
