[ Character's Name ] : Orphaner Dualscar
[ Character's Age ] : Specifics are unknown, but he's definitely a few centuries old at this point. Perhaps around 500?
[ Series ] : Homestuck
[ Canon Point ] : I'll take him from right around the time that he's culled by the Grand Highblood Subjugglator
[ History ] :
Here is sort of a lame history but I think I should expand on it as much as I can because it's really short.
Everything we know about Dualscar's history, we learn from the journal of Mindfang Spinneret, his kismesis. As such, it is a bit biased and slanted and there are a lot of gaps, though at least we know a bit more about him than we do about many of the other ancestors.
Orphaner was named such because of his practice of killing lusi, probably for official purposes, but we're not really sure why. (So he orphaned a lot of troll kids). He is named Dualscar because he has two scars across his face, whose origin is unknown but which he likely picked up in battle.
Indications are that he was a powerful, well-respected member of the troll military, though on a personal level Mindfang indicates that he was the subject of mockery because of his personal failings and jealousy. Whether the latter is actually true generally, or only true of her in particular, is difficult to say. He definitely had a ship of his own, and slaves, and a crew. He also had a very famous laser rifle named Ahab's Crosshairs, which was ultimately passed down to his descendent, Eridan Ampora.
He had a very strong kismessitude with Mindfang, which was very important to him. Given the way he acted, he likely had no other quadrants - he was very jealous of her other attachments, which was something that Mindfang exploited deliberately, and almost certainly had no moirail to keep him stable.
When Mindfang took on Dolorosa as her slave and teased Dualscar with that relationship, Dualscar apparently became mad with jealousy. He had Dolorosa assassinated, then went to the Grand Highblood Subjugglator, likely to enlist his aid to have Mindfang finally brought to justice. Up to now, because of their kismesis relationship, their rivalry had involved him seeming to chase her, but allowing her to slip through his fingers - a common sort of dance for kismeses to engage in. But now he was serious. Apparently, unfortunately for him, the unpredictable and violent Grand Highblood murdered Dualscar instead.
[ Personality ] :
Dualscar is an intelligent troll, with centuries of battle experience, making him an excellent tactician and commander. He is a loyal - possibly fanatically loyal - subject of the Empire, and definitely loves his power and prestige. He is a sea dweller, making him second in blood only to the Condesce herself, and that is a fact that he takes great pride and pleasure in.
He believes strongly in the essential rightness of the hemospectrum, in the inherent superiority of his blood over others, and that lowbloods are essentially intelligent animals who need a strong hand to guide them. They are tools to be used for the purpose for which they were created - to serve, to fight where directed, to die if they are not useful, or become unmanageable. Part of this belief is simply due to his upbringing, and partly because if he were to accept that lowbloods - in their numbers - were equal to sea dwellers, he would lose everything that he has in life. After all, he stands at the pinnacle of troll society, and he will push off anyone who tries to threaten his position, and not care if they fall to their deaths. His moral compass is survival of the fittest, and he is very fit.
Dualscar, being a highblood troll, has little to no conscience when it comes to murder or destruction. If someone annoys him, he may kill them. He has the inherent right to do so, because of who he is, and by the morals of his culture there is no reason for him to feel guilty. He has murdered thousands of lusi, orphaning an equal number of trolls - and likely dooming them if they can't take care of themselves - as well as many thousands of trolls, either directly or indirectly in battle. It's possible that he has wiped out entire civilizations, as his armies conquered worlds and brought them under his Empress' heel.
All that being said, Dualscar is certainly not devoid of emotion or personal pain of his own. He is a very lonely person, isolated because of his position and because of the demands of his society. He truly doesn't understand redrom - so focused on being the strongest and keeping his position against war, competition, and potential assassination, that he can't imagine how someone could weaken themselves enough to be pitied, and not be killed. He sees betrayal at every turn, and is honestly frightened of intimacy. So the only way in which he can feel a connection with another individual is through hatred and violence, yet this only fulfills him to a certain degree. Though he doesn't understand why, his life is empty and lonely, which only makes him more emotionally messed up.
This loneliness makes him an extremely jealous, needy lover. He can't stand that someone who is literally his whole world - Mindfang - seems to be happy to throw him aside on a whim. She has had many lovers, while he has had very few, and he is far more devoted to the relationship than she seems to be. Part of this disparity is played up by Mindfang purely because she knows it gets to him, but a lot of it is real. She enjoys her rivalry with him, but is fine with tossing him aside, while Dualscar's jealousy that she might choose a worthless slave over him (even though she actually HASN'T) drives him straight to his death. Though it is not normal for trolls to be exclusive - they are supposed to have romance in four different categories with a total of five different other trolls! - Dualscar is a monogamist in a polygamist society.
[ Strengths/Weaknesses ] :
Dualscar is an experienced military commander. He leads through fear, though as that's fairly normal in troll society, I'm sure he's had many loyal crew members over the centuries. And lots who would kill him to advance if they had the chance.
He's a very accomplished survivor in general. He can fight with his rifle, but no doubt is also good at close-range combat. He's a powerful, strong, rugged troll, in peak physical condition, and also pretty much the peak of what troll genetics has to offer. If he loses a fight he'll probably die, so rarely does he lose fights.
He is also a sea dweller, so he's an excellent swimmer and can breathe under water. I don't think he shares Eridan's antipathy towards water - at least, there's no reason to believe he does.
On the weaknesses side, Dualscar is a needy, codependent, jealous emotional mess. That's pretty much it.
[ Other Important Facts ] :
Dualscar is Eridan's ancestor, and is genetically identical to him. He was created ectobiologically by Karkat and sent back in time on a meteor, which crashed in the breeding caverns. I guess that's part of his history, but he's completely unaware of it.

[ Series ] : Homestuck
[ Canon Point ] : Before the final fight with the Condesce
[ History ] :
The Handmaid has a bit of a different history than most of the other ancestor trolls. She had nothing to do with the Signless and his group, and the suffering and anguish they experienced as memories of a life before the current Alternia started to emerge. She, in fact, had nothing to do with Alternia as a young grub, as the meteor that delivered her arrived long after the world had been destroyed by SGRUB, being the only ancestor to arrive after her descendant had died. Another major difference is that she was not raised by a lusus, obvious as Alternia had been obliterated by then. Instead, one Doc Scratch intercepted her meteor and drafted her into the service of Lord English. There, she learned about the trolls that came before her, her role in perpetuating the cycle of war and strife on Alternia to prepare her descendant for SGRUB, and the majyyk needed to fulfill her role. As those who know troll biology might know, moulding her to become an unstoppable demon's Handmaid would be nigh impossible with the lifespan that low blood trolls have. In return, she was cursed with an improbably long lifespan, perhaps even as long as the tyrian-blooded Condesce herself.
If one is to go in strict chronological order, one would go back to when she was first forced into the role of the Handmaid and sent back in time to stir up conflict. Then they would follow her as she continued to appear during various points in time, creating strife and eventually being referred to as the Demoness and Death's Handmaid. Her last moments would be fulfilling her final role by recruiting Her Imperious Condescension into becoming Lord English's Handmaid and finally being killed by her. But that wouldn't, in a linear timeline, be the last time one saw her. Her grub would appear centuries later, being raised by Doc Scratch. With Andrew Hussie's help, she would try to escape his abusive tutelage only to run straight into the arms of the demonic Lord English himself. This would be when the cycle repeated itself and she would be sent back in time to create conflict on a world she only knew before as absolutely demolished.
And as of this time, this is all Hussie has revealed about the Handmaid.
[ Personality ] :
The Handmaid's in a unique position, as she's the only ancestor troll to be directly shown in Homestuck, but only as a young troll still in Doc Scratch's care. All others have either been talked about by Doc Scratch or Mindfang's journal, or only had journal entries shown depicting their version of the events that transpired. Thus, her personality as a child has actually been shown. She was willful and headstrong, fighting against her captor with every weapon she had (including her own life), as well as a bit manipulative behind his back as she turned the fifth wall back on when he wasn't looking. She was shown to also be rather rude, flipping Doc Scratch off in defiance.
So how does this apply to the adult Handmaid, the one that seemed to follow her Lord's orders without question? The first thing to remember is that the only time we see her seemingly unflinchingly following orders was to battle the Condesce, when her death was assured. No other order has been shown except that one. It can be safe to say that the Handmaid never lost that headstrong nature, nor her ability to wait and manipulate until things could go her way. But at the same time, this has been centuries of a life she would never naturally have. Centuries of fighting back only to be forced into a position she never wanted. She would have long learned by now how to pick and choose her battles.
Given how many of the descendants and ancestors have many similarities about them (Vriska and Eridan's kismesisstude much like Mindfang and Dualscar's, Eridan killing Kanaya like how Dualscar killed the Dolorosa), the Handmaid having a sort of "death fangirl" personality about her would be expected. Outside of being forced to follow orders she detested, she would have a weirdly cheery morbid personality. Also like her descendant, certain societal taboo conversational topics rather elude her. What do you mean not everyone wants to talk about death and war?
[ Strengths/Weaknesses ] :
Strengths
*She is by far an accomplished fighter and has no compunctions about killing.
*Clockwork majyyk, bitches.
Weaknesses
*Being raised away from other trolls gives her an awkwardness when dealing with others. The only interaction she had with others were in her adult life, fulfilling her role as the Handmaid for Lord English, so interacting with people that doesn't result in a fight will be slightly difficult for her.
[ Other Important Facts ] :
A few friends would be good for her, though she won't know what to do with them.
[ Sample ] :
It had been a very long time since she had last been under the surface of the ocean. Perhaps one of her first visits to Alternia had been to visit seadwellers, and to rile up a possible pacifist sect. It had been sadly easy to appeal to their psychotic side, but it had worked.
This visit was far more enjoyable already. She had no idea how seadwellers could even enjoy visiting the surface with how troll hair reacted to being wet. She was certain she had seaweed in her hair for many visits to come. Not exactly the most intimidating figure. She tilted her head back, scrutinizing the world around her. Strange, she thought she knew all of Alternia by now. This should be familiar to her. Perhaps it had been built recently. The Handmaid sighed at the thought of the work she would have to do for this visit. Another attempt to have seadwellers work together with landdwellers.
Well, she knew what sort of punishments awaited her from that creepy skull-headed demon, so the thought occurred to her that she should get on the job soon and just get it over with. But it was peaceful, calm… perhaps just a moment of rest before going back to work. Lord English could suck her wands if he opposed that idea.

[ Personality ] :
Fox is mostly well-mannered and even-tempered. He puts on a professional face with strangers, but can be anything but with someone he’s familiar with. However, he has a tendency to dodge things, seemingly for no evident reason. Unnecessary conflict is something he tries to avoid—including things as mundane as arguments. He has a bit of a lazy streak, but will do most anything for money (being a mercenary) so long as it falls in the realm of legality (being a “good” mercenary).
Because of his equivocal nature he tends to let things go unsaid. This does not mean that he is exactly a pushover; he has some slight authority issues. But he is much more likely to take some roundabout way to get what he wants than he is to directly confront his problems. He is not totally aware of this trait, or if he is then he fails to realize how much it affects what he does, he just does it—like a habit. And despite all of that, he does have (somewhat grudgingly) an honorable streak.
His indirectness affects how he deals with others as well. Fox prefers to let people figure things out on their own, and as such he rarely comes across as demanding or overbearing, even in a leadership position. Some would consider him relaxed; others might mistake him for being all but deadpan (he does have a dry sense of humor), depending on the circumstances. Not only is he capable of keeping his head, but also he can tolerate most personalities. As such, he is fairly quick to make connections with people, and he holds his family and friends in high regard.
[ Strengths/Weaknesses ] :
If it is controlled via some sort of steering mechanism, Fox can pilot it. He’s worked around machines of all sorts for most of his life and he knows them inside and out. Flying contraptions in particular are his passion.
He also possesses what is perhaps best referred to as “leadership ability,” a blanket term for a combination of traits involving dealing with, managing, and motivating people/situations.
While he is great at keeping his cool, certain subjects could set him off. Like his father, for instance. But typically his response is to shrug things off—Fox very rarely becomes angry.
I’ve already mentioned that he’s dodgy. It’s one thing when he’s avoiding something that would best be avoided, but it can lead to awkward social situations when it happens with his friends for no real reason.
In terms fighting, he is not particularly strong. If it comes down to a brawl, he can fall back on his agility, but he feels much more comfortable with a gun in hand.
Finally, his fur is a bit of an inconvenience in certain situations. He is not at all fond of the rain, and would much rather deal with the desert heat than suffer a wet climate.
[ Other Important Facts ] :
Fox is inexplicably uncomfortable with the combination of romantic/relationship subjects and public places. Alone, they give him no problems. Together, they make him embarrassed and evasive.

Vegeta's History
Vegeta is currently a subordinate of Frieza and none too happy about it. His main job is to subjugate other planets and entertain his oh-so-gracious master.
[ Personality ] :
To put it simply, Vegeta is an arrogant prick. He is quite convinced of his Saiyan superiority and doesn't allow anyone beneath him to say otherwise. He doesn't hesitate to dispose of people who displease him, and he is easily angered when others refuse to acknowledge him.
He is not without restraint, however. If someone far outclasses Vegeta's strength, he will keep quiet. He is well aware of Frieza's great power and does not talk back to his face, though he plans to kill Frieza someday. Until then, Vegeta simply waits, taking on the hardest missions possible in an attempt to gain strength and maybe, someday, unravel the mystery of the legend of the Super Saiyan. His patience on this front is seemingly endless.
Vegeta's loyalty is a hard thing to win, but if someone does manage to truly befriend him, he is steadfast in his defense of them. It's likely he would even willingly sacrifice his life for a loved one (as in the Buu saga, though that hasn't happened to our little Vegeta yet!). He is private with his emotions and doesn't often express concern for others, pushing them away if he feels that they are getting too close. The young Vegeta has separated himself positive emotions like friendship and love, but he still possesses the capacity for those feelings. This is likely because Frieza told him not to become too attached to any pets and he fears for the safety of anyone he gets close to.
[ Strengths/Weaknesses ] :
Physical strengths:
* If he recovers, being hurt only makes him stronger
* Can survive under ridiculous amounts of gravity, can go without breathing for a long time, not much affected by temperature.

Emotional strengths:
* Determined
* Nearly unbreakable mind - years and years under Frieza, and he never broke down and cried until his death.
* Extremely loyal
* Intelligent
* Fearless - what's left to lose?
Physical weaknesses:
* Next to none. If it's a physical attack, he can adapt to it eventually. Saiyans have an exceptional immune system as well. Considering their eating habits, it's probably a survival mechanism. However, to keep him in balance somewhat...
* Magic. Vegeta has never encountered it. He will have no idea what to do with it and will be more vulnerable to that sort of attack. It is unlikely that he will develop much of a defense against magic.
* And of course, his tail. It's extremely sensitive. He keeps it coiled tightly around his waist usually.
Emotional weaknesses:
* Paranoia - Vegeta is convinced that everything is some plot of Frieza's.
* Loneliness - Most of his race is dead and any friends he makes are killed by the overlord
* Temper - Vegeta's temper is explosive and he's young enough that he can't always control it. It makes him sloppy in fights from time to time.
* Pride - Vegeta is too prideful to sincerely ask for help. He would have to be at the end of his life to lower himself to that. Ordering people to do his bidding, on the other hand, is another matter entirely.
[ Other Important Facts ] :
Saiyans transform upon seeing the full moon. Their moods may also be somewhat dependant on the cycle of the moon.
[ Sample ] :
Vegeta, prince of all Saiyans, was lost. His scouter kept telling him that it was out of range and he felt the urge to crush the damn thing, but that could turn out badly if he was far enough from another habitable planet that he would need someone to pick him up.
No, it was better to survey his surroundings.
This place was nothing like the pathetic planet he had been sent to enslave. They certainly didn't have technology advanced enough to build a city underwater, and - he jumped just to test it - the gravity was lighter, here. He fluffed his tail up in irritation. If he had no idea where he was, he couldn't be too forceful with gathering information. There was no way to tell who had favor with Frieza. He would have to play nicely.
"You," he barked at the nearest person. "What is this place?"
There. Perfectly nice. He hadn't even hit them.
* He's Saiyan. That covers it if you know what a Saiyan is.
Emotional strengths:
* Determined
* Nearly unbreakable mind - years and years under Frieza, and he never broke down and cried until his death.
* Extremely loyal
* Intelligent
* Fearless - what's left to lose?
Physical weaknesses:
* Next to none. If it's a physical attack, he can adapt to it eventually. Saiyans have an exceptional immune system as well. Considering their eating habits, it's probably a survival mechanism. However, to keep him in balance somewhat...

Vegeta tsunned all the way through this, denying that he has anything to overcome emotionally
