Below is a place to thread out quick little conversations with the NPCs that aren't worth an entire log. Vatheon's staple NPCs will have postings here, and all the other new quest NPCs will simply be listed under the "Quest NPCs" comment header. Please put in the subject line which quest you're talking with an NPC about!

[ Well... this quest isn't necessarily as explodey as he would have liked. But fuck. Family bonds are important! So here is. He is gonna fix this shit. ]

Hey lady? Bring the brats out. I'm gonna talk to 'em.

[The sister looks up at Devit somewhat incredulously.]

Umm... I can't really get them to leave their room. Can you talk to them one at a time, mister?

That's sounds like a three ring circus runaround. And I'm planning on telling 'em both the same thing anyways.

Well, fights like this are never over what they say it's over. If we can get to the root of the problem, that should stop their fighting.

What happened just before they built the wall?

[The sister wrings her hands nervously.]

Well, I don't know exactly. I heard an "oww!" and a "you took my legos again!" and then "well it was on my side of the room!" and then they just started arguing over where the line should go and before I knew it they built a big wall!

[Off he goes, and he's back soon after with ingredients for a cake! Soon the entire kitchen smells like delicious confection, helped along by Sola waving the smell towards the boys room with a fan.

Of course, they won't be allowed to have any until the stop being jerks.]

[One boy emerges. The other boy doesn't have any access to the door, only a window that faces the other side of the house. He can't smell the cake.]

[Fai knows about having a brother and although he never fought with his..he can't stand to think someone might lose the chance to enjoy having theirs close.]

I think I might be able to help. It would be easiest to speak with them at the same time but that might just be impossible..so I'd like to try to speak to them individually for now if that is okay.

Yes, that's fine! Umm, here, their room is this way.

[She leads Fai back to the boys' room. Sure enough, there's a ramshackle wall right down the middle. One of the boys is on this side, and he looks up at Fai curiously.]

[Because not everyone is STRONG enough to do radical interior redesigning by punching down walls, Equius, gosh!]

Do you think they could stand being in the same room long enough to talk or should I try talking to them separately?

They won't even come out to get dinner at the same time. I think you'll have to do it one at a time.

[She leads them back to the boys' room. Sure enough, there's a wall right down the middle of it.]

Huh, you uh, ever ask them if they want to divide up the week? [Scratches head.] If they want more space for certain activities, they could call days to have more room to one of them, and, the other can just, uh, ya know, take time off to do something away from home.

[The sister looks up at Lysunder, momentarily awed by the huge horns before answering.]

Divide up the week...? But there's seven days, how could they divide it up evenly?

[This is a pretty big issue here, okay? If these brothers can't divide something evenly they'll bicker until the end of time.]
